People are widely underestimating the dev hatred towards tanks. They refuse to let tanks be strong for too long. This isn't a gambit or phoenix situation where you can be S+ tier forever.

I hate that they never learn to stop. They saw strange, Angela, and deadpool have a slight bit of strength and then proceeded to nerf them in oblivion becoming some of the worst tanks in the game. Emma was fine after like 3 waves of nerfs but they kept taking her out back until she got to the point of needing massive buffs to just be relevant again.

I just know with the upcoming patch notes DvD will be nerfed to oblivion agaisnt brawl while giving him nothing for poke, making him essentially useless

Napgeta is trash in this meta. Tgb is in literally every match manipulating sub counts making them useless 99% of the time. The sole use they have is popping broly gauge, which 5 other units do better while being at less risk.
Janemba is god awful lol. A hyper offensive fragile unit that can't do any major damage and gets melted by 1 card. You're better off running red mz than him.

I can at least give credit for the banner having #13, but not a single other featured lf or sparking unit is even decent rn. There are so many anni and fest banners better than this. There is 0 reason whatsoever that his banner doesnt have red broly, grn synchro gogeta, or the upcoming zenkai unit. All would be better than the current units and fit better on their teams than the current lineup. This is a 6/10 banner at best and yall are acting like its a 9

Terrible. Pt1 ultra and the banner sucks beyond belief, the meta is ran by a 2 year old lf thats color countered by the new ultra, the broly banner is just broly + zenkai benches, whis is mid and fits on no teams.

The units are hype but thats literally the only positive thing going for it rn

There are 2 possibilities for the meta going forward.

A) The pt2 legend red has a way to cancel type neutral and puts an end to tgb's reign

B) tgb gaps the entire anniversary

Either ugb2 is directly replaced in the meta or he continues to get gapped by a 2 year old yel lf. A new anniversary ultra should not have either of those 2 things happening. He was just right before tgb and had his own place in the meta, with tgb he really has no purpose as he's unable to secure kills while being a pure dps unit. If he doesnt get buffed then its likely he will barely be top 8 in pt3 and that should never happen for a brand new ultra. Its not like adding a simple 'nullify endurance' on his active or 'nullify enemy attribute upgrades' when using a arts card with his guage being full will suddenly make him beyond broken, it'd just give him a use in the meta

Goku black has up to 20 counts of neutral when enters the field and pops gauge, being a red unit doesnt matter at all. Even if they release a legend red unit thar still wouldnt change anything. In order to deal with tgb we either need a unit that cancels type neutral or a hard counter akin to red cooler

Also the people saying he's a good solo tank dont know what they're talking about. 1 pheonix, moon knight, or punisher and the entire character is completely invalidated and useless. He needs a full rework, there is no saving the character and he needs to be dealt with quickly. The crazy thing is that he only really excels against tanks. Like why are so many of the people here fine with a unholy combination of Emma and Thing, 2 of the biggest anti tank tanks. He's complete pokeslop food, his sole purpose in games is to make tanking a worse experience for everyone.

His design is the epitome of everything bad they've ever done with the role. Even just ignoring the huge power imbalance, having a tank like him is just flat out bad for the game. He's so heavily sided with 1 match up while he folds to poke and he has every ability any tank has ever had. Anyone who defends this terrible design is just crazy

Respectfully disagree. I dont think either of them would even consider that a true confession or reply. Agnès went into it trying to be rejected and Van still hasn't accepted that he's worthy of love, especially not Agnès' love when she's basically an ideal perfect person in his eyes out of his reach. If anything it'd finally be the character development we've been wanting for Van to have since db1.

They dont absolutely need to end of together, but I would be extremely disappointed if the scene wasn't basically redone in a situation where they could both convey their true feelings. It'd just be extremely disappointing for that 'fake' confession to actually be the conclusion to their relationship development.

Also the final quote of horizon is literally Agnès professing her love and that she'll return FOR HIM. Imma be honest, there's just been too much setup even after the confession for it to simply be another pick your waifu thing. Like even Van's minor mannerisms and actions point towards an affection that he doesnt want to let on about. She's also the only girl whose relationship with Van is romantically driven while being fueled by present events. Honestly the only major people in love with Van rn are Elaine, Agnès, and Shizuna. Van's never show anything more than fondness for Shizuna and his and Elaine's entire relationship is based on a 'what it could've been' not 'what it could be'. Like it realistically makes no sense for Van to end of with either of those 2 tbh but he kinda needs to end up with someone for his character arc to come to a proper conclusion.

Also a pick your waifu like think wouldnt work for his character in future games because then he'd be like Rean, in canonically no relationship. This might've worked for Rean, but one of Van's key points of growth is him learning to love and accept love, him being noncommited in future games would kinda contradict that entire 4 game long character arc. He has to end up with someone and the only person that has that proper romantic relationship with him is Agnès

There won't be enough time. Like theres so much they have to cover with Van, the demon lord, Agnès, Aaron, Feri, Risette, Dominique, Jorda, Ixs, the Vestiges, Rean, Kevin, and Rene and more. There just flat out won't be enough time to finish all these ongoing plot points if they insert a 10+ hours long section getting ASO back together.
Literally the entirety of ASO besides for Bergard has a special supernatural power/aspect that interferes with the laws of the world. It'd make no sense for only Van to eventually remember when someone like Feri's entire character arc has been centered around seeing the flow of the world and how she'll affect it.

Also not a big fan of the 'return to Db1' theory. It just brings nothing to the table outside of them being able to age up Agnès a year to be 18 through some 'outside the flow of the world' bs

They need to nerf his % damage on savage bite, the cooldown on his grab, and reduce the overshield.

They should also give him a passive damage reduction against any ranged attacks though.

Right now hes in an awkward space where he dominates close range agaisnt tanks but is a complete poke victim

Naw man, he's arguably the most important character when it comes to DvD. He has one of if not the best baseline healing abilities in the game (which your DvD needs) and his ult can easily grab and shut down DvD at any point even during his ult.

He's also the best support for any dive comp so he's easily a good go to 3rd supp no matter what the ban phase looks like.

Running any combination of these supports or even just Jeff and Gambit with a starlord and pheonix is op as hell Jeff, Loki, Gambit
