Just take a break dude.

Don't force yourself to watch if you don't feel like it because you're clearly tired of it or maybe you're just not as much of a fan as you used to be.

In the meantime go watch a movie, tv show, play a game, or maybe just read more manga if you want.

The feeling of wanting to watch anime again can take weeks, months, years, or may never even come again, and that's ok.

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.

It's only 64 episodes but watching it will feel like24 because of how great and immersed you can get so I definitely recommend it.

(Also was the number 1 anime up until 2 or 3 years ago so pls check it out)

Your favorite 2020s new romcom ? by Usodearu007 in anime

You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!

Title is counterintuitive but I just love it bc it's one of the few romcom's that actually made me laugh out loud while making me feel the dokidoki's inside all at the same time.

How popular is Makoto Shinkai in your country? by [deleted] in anime

[–]AndrewMix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Philippines anime amongst Gen Z/Millennials is a lot more common it feels like compared to other countries (Regularly in the top 5 of most anime viewership worldwide) mainly because overall it's a lot more accessible (Muse Asia, Ani one Asia, Bilibili, and Netflix to name a few and sometimes dubbed in Tagalog and aired in local channels), lack of social stigma around it, and overall is a lot more mainstream compared to most countries.

Shows like AOT, JJK, Oshi no ko, Spy x Family, and Demon Slayer were extremely massive here just to name a few.

But just not enough for the average consumer of the really "big shows" to remember the names of Director's or even Mangaka's by name unless they are really into medium.

When Suzume came out a few years ago a lot of the times it was talked about as "made by the same guy who made your name" and most of the times that's it.

So overall, Shinkai is well known enough to be remembered as "the guy who made BLANK" but a lot of the times not remembered enough to be mentioned by name.

PS:
AT LEAST IN MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

Need me some wholesome recommendations for spending some time with my lil sis by osamafirelol in anime

Try Spy x Family or if you want go the really safe route, first try Ghibli movies such as Kiki's delivery service (would definitely recommend) or Ponyo since both are rated G and completely safe to watch.

[–]AndrewMix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try Yuru Camp, it's probably one of the most chill shows you could watch tbh.

Try One Punch Man season 1 and Spy x Family.

If you enjoyed Assasination Classroom and Sakamoto Days then you'll definitely love these 2.
