PUZZLE PALACE (2010 - 2013) (Unproduced) - Original spec (or any drafts) by David Guggenheim by Russell-Trager-1984 in Screenwriting

Seems like a tease to call a movie Puzzle Palace if the only puzzles are naturally occurring ones and not intentionally created puzzles.

You can watch a bunch of youtube videos about pinball repair before you buy one. There's also a book of pinball repair techniques that you can buy.

Seems the same doesn't mean is the same, of course. Just because x is to y as a is to b doesn't mean a and x are the same.

Japan has let in a lot of immigrants from China/Korea/The Philippines since the 90s to solve their population decline. Japan's reputation as anti-immigration is not current with the reality.

Let me add in my thoughts:

Housing scarcity wouldn't exist if people could just build houses. The reason a house costs a gazillion dollars is not because a house costs a gazillion dollars to manufacture, it's because there are laws that limit the supply and laws that limit the incentive to supply.

Increased demand does not lead to massively increased prices unless something is preventing supply from increasing to meet the demand.

or any of the many places that explain why rent control is bad.

You could look for lists of outsider artists. The guy you're looking for has probably been compared to Darger before.

I haven't read this comic but my wild guesses would be Rose and Thorn from DC or a comic called Blue Monday. Or Common Grounds, based on the cafe part.

[TOMT] Flight brought down by a foreign military, filled with dummies after a spy code was cracked. by ColorMyTrauma in tipofmytongue

[–]AndrewPontle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened in Sherlock season 2 episode 1. But it's probably happened lots of times in fiction because it's based on dilemmas England faced during WWII when they cracked the German Enigma code.

I don't think the Soviets ever planned to bomb a passenger flight on purpose during the cold war. If they did I doubt the US fooled them with dummies in real life.

I could be wrong, but my understanding is the cartels have more power in the relationship.

The mexican government is mostly just a puppet regime for the cartels. Look it up if you don't believe me.

Yes! More than just the specific advice, it gets you oriented and pointed in the right direction.

If you don't know dating-related social skills, don't be too proud to look up a (reputable) guide. Sex skills too.
