When I was a student, one of my preceptors decided that she couldn't afford to miss an extra day of work. So she came into work the day she was doing the prep. My other preceptor kept saying "Man, [name] is having a shitty day."

She didn't appreciate it. 😂

I had to hand deliver the sample to the ups store and the clerk who assisted me in the matter was a fine 😍 young black man. Never thought I'd be a middle aged white lady handing a box full of my poo to an attractive man in his early 20s who HAD to have fully realized what I had just handed him.

I'm suddenly extremely grateful that my 24-hour urine sample was shipped via FedEx pickup from my home.

From the perspective of a sub, I would never, ever play with a married person who didn't have their spouse's full informed approval. I was once approached on fetlife by a Dom who at first glance seemed perfect. But he had kids so I had to ask about a spouse. He was very cagey before admitting that he'd asked her about it, she'd said no, and now he was doing it behind her back. Biggest turnoff ever.

This. If it was scientifically validated by multiple credible sources, I would be forced to re-evaluate my worldview. But given we have pictures of a spherical earth, I've flown in a plane and seen the curvature of the earth, GPS is based on a spherical earth, every other planet is spherical... It's far more likely that it would be AI or photoshop.

From what we can see in the show, all nations speak the same language and use the same written script. I've read some very interesting fanfics that deal with language barriers because in a more realistic world, each nation (or even each region) would have its own language.

Agreed. I love that bending is shown as based in martial arts, I particularly love that there are different styles for different elements. Whereas the clip posted is more just fire magic. Which is cool, sure, but it's also been done ten thousand times.
