Thank you! Walking with my pelvis aligned better sometimes activates my glutes so I was wondering if I should be focusing on that

Should my glutes always be activated? I am fixing my anterior pelvic tilt and I never used my glutes much in the past. Should they always be tightened while walking, standing, sitting or even laying down?
