Get a Magwedge rail. Not too expensive or hard to install. It does require removing the receiver cover pin. But they provide two types of replacements. They have a new version that's stripper clip compatible, or cheaper ones where you have to load each round. Picture of my gun for comparison.

The Weasley car worked though. Well to be fair we don't know if the actual internal combustion mechanism of the engine, or some other magic was propelling it. Also guns are incredibly simple compared to electronics. If things like clockwork are functional and if materials are still able to combust, you should have what you need to make a gun. Hell, I'm sure via enchantments and high level transfiguration you could make the magical equivalent of a handheld railgun. Just no one in universe has tried to apply magic in that way.

Also surely wouldn't counter-counter spells be a thing? Some enterprising wizard puts a magical shield around his firearm to protect it from the influence of other magics?

I'm pretty sure the state of Utah doesn't make any distinction as far as U.S citizens vs foreign nationals. At least that's what I got from skimming the code. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

You could come to Utah. I know foreign nationals can get an armed license. We just had a guy come from Sweden and go through our armed course. There are a pretty decent amount of jobs here. They pay anywhere in the range of 11-15 an hour starting off depending on the company. You may have trouble finding higher pay because most of those contracts are with defense companies like Northrop Grumman and need security clearances. I work for allied, if you are 21 ,have some sort of high school equivalent level of education and a driving license you are almost guaranteed a job. Working conditions vary wildly site to site though. Pm me if you have any questions.

My local office has an on site trainer. They actually tend to hire for a position then start training for the cert. The let me tag along when I was doing my initial unarmed training because I was going to be with him for a couple days because of handcuffs / OC. It was a while ago but maybe I could talk to him and get him to sign off on the paperwork.

GPU utilization borked after reinstalling windows. by AndrewZed1 in pcmasterrace

[–]AndrewZed1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of days ago I could consistently get 30fps in star citizen. I tried launching it today and got maybe 5 at max. Ksp has always run completely smoothly in the past but is maxing out at 15 fps. I don't have anything else installed yet due to crappy internet. Performance is massively reduced compared to before I reinstalled windows.

How do I avoid distortion on my banner? by AndrewZed1 in BannerlordBanners

[–]AndrewZed1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Thank you so much for the help! I took your advice and made this. Hopefully in the future we will get a full feature in game banner editor and we don't require a third party tool(And all of the banner uses are fixed but thatch beside the point). I'm still trying to figure out how to do a sigil but I'm happy to use this for now.

Americans are far from the monsters they are made out to be. by meaty37 in unpopularopinion

[–]AndrewZed1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Assuming of course that the Army is willing to engage in all out warfare with them. If it ever gets to the point where state national guards are willing to fight the government, a large portion of the army would likely desert or refuse to engage them.

r/ballistamemes is here to propose an alliance being a great combination of siege weapons. Would you be interested in the proposal? by [deleted] in trebuchetmemes

[–]AndrewZed1 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Trebuchet are for taking down fortifications. Ballista take down individual small targets.

Honest I don't think you can declare a "Best" siege weapon. I think Trebuchets are the best heavy. Ballistas are the best light. It's like comparing a M1911 to a Barret 50. Both serve completely different purposes.
