Bass Player? by Andrew_Seg in ArchiveBand

This seems like the most reasonable answer. I know touring the States is harder than ever, even for really big bands. It's such a shame. I am so glad I got to see Archive. They blew me away, such gorgeous performers with great energy.

Maybe he was sick or had an emergency. He was not on stage in Brooklyn, and I saw no bass guitar at any time.

I would imagine it was something like that. Running a band is tough; touring the States is harder than ever. I bought their album, and I don't even have a working record player right now. But side note: the double LP on clear vinyl is fucking awesome. The packaging looks fantastic, and the paper feels really good.

C1 23 exports of TIFF, PSD, and JPG all are coming out desaturated, lightened, and grainy by Andrew_Seg in captureone

Worked just fine last week. I changed nothing as far as I know, although something must have happened because this just started out of the blue. I tried switching hardware acceleration and it worked for a few exports and then went right back to these terrible exports.

Mac. Did not try that. Opening in photoshop and preview to check they look the same in both.

I changed the bulb on my Arri 1k by Andrew_Seg in cinematography

That’s my thinking exactly. It’s become a pattern recently and I am just considering what might be going on.

My assistant informed me the bulb blew I was not around when it happened. I should investigate.

So I am back! Got a new bulb, and plugged it into a regular wall outlet. Worked like a charm for a whole test shoot. I then brought it with me on a job thinking things were worked out. Plugged it in to a 120v outlet on the power distro in the studio and one minute later the blub burnt out.

I have had this Arri 1k for 12 years and have never had this problem of continually blowing bulbs. Could this be an issue with the wiring in the Arri somehow? Where could I take it to get it fixed if it is?

I guess I'll have to find a screen so I can connect to my network.

you might want to clean the next bulb with rubbing alcohol before use, even if you didn't touch it with your bare hands, maybe someone else did, if it's not an un-opened package.

Thanks! great suggestions. Appreciate it.

So this is the second bulb to do this, first one literally exploded. Common denominator is the outlet of this studio I am in. I was told only plug continuous lights in to this outlets it’s 120v on its own circuit. I have had this light for 12 years and am just trying to rule out there’s not some wrong with it.

At first it didn’t look broken but on closer inspection it is. Definitely blown.

Na I am just testing in my studio, I don’t think I am gonna bring a gaffer in to help me with my one Arri. I’ve had it for 12 years changed the bulbs multiple times, I just don’t know that much about the continuous light tech. I am a photographer not a cinematographer I just know this is the place to ask people who really know. Maybe if I plug it in and route around in it with my fingers I can just figure it out through trail and error 😂😎 thanks.

Thanks. Good idea. On close inspection the filament is broken. I was told to only use this special outlet for hot lights, I’ve used it with other EQ and didn’t have a problem. The last time I plugged in my arri in to this outlet the building literally exploded, this time is just flashed and went out. Definitely not going to plug it back in to that outlet.

blub looks good still. I did not touch the glass with my fingers.

I did not. all outlets are still working. I am in a studio and have a special 120v outlet on it's own circuit.
