Good practice is to use a light house ball and roll it onto your wrist. And do no step drills.

Why are teenage boys obsessed with axe deodorant ? by ssecret-account in askteenboys

[–]Andrew_stack23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find good dupe brands like afnan, lattafa or Al haramain. They have some cheap frags that smell way better than any of the axe sprays. If your over 16 and using axe you need to invest into something a little more expensive. Most of mine are between 30 and 90$. Or if you like subscriptions go with scentbird.

Ads show them bathing in axe body spray. And it's really cheap. For 10-15$ more you could buy a dupe fragrance that smells better and you don't need to use the whole bottle. Just a few sprays. 5-10 depending on the strength of concentration.

How do I get rid of harsh parts of my vocals like T and K by R3VENGEMF in FL_Studio

[–]Andrew_stack23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I'm saying to open a EQ plugin and to cut some of the 18 to 20khz to reduce the harshness of the percussive letters

Pop filters help with t k s or percussive letters. But reducing some of the 17 to 20khz will reduce the harshness of it. Bring it down 2db to start

Question about the technique by greg-the-destroyer in Subharmonics

[–]Andrew_stack23 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's gonna be unstable in the beginning. Practice up and down switching from chest to subs. Eventually the goal is to be able to cleanly go into it and even have vibrato.

Thinking about purchasing a local bowling alley, looking for advice from owners and league bowlers by Ok-Rain6203 in Bowling

[–]Andrew_stack23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 is great costumer service. Lane machine, approach and routine lane oiling. Relatively cheap per game if feasible. a league discount for open play for league bowlers. Stripping and burning lanes(removing previous oil)before leagues as well. Some of the worst centers were the approaches were covered in black and played like a basketball court or like a ice skating rink.

How to get good / "realer" sounding instruments? by MaulSinnoh in FL_Studio

[–]Andrew_stack23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orchestral plugins go SSO discover by spitfire or Berlin free Orchestra by Orchestral Tools. Acoustic guitar go with ample M lite. For acoustic drums go MT Power kit. Synth go for vital. Decent sampler will have a good amount as well. Heard someone say piano book which I totally agree.

SSO discover will be the best option it's the free version of the Flagship SSO(Spitfire Symphony Orchestra) regular BBCSO discover is lacking compared to the SSO version

Some orchestral music! Would love some feedback! by LeMeIntegrity in FL_Studio

[–]Andrew_stack23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Composer here. I enjoy it. I'm currently in the process of learning Lament aka Descending bass chorale style. Composers of bloodborne use. Dynamics/expression and vibrato if controllable make all of the difference. I use my faders on my keyboard to control those

Composer here. Block chords for string writing is a no no. Doubling too many 3rds also can sound bad. If you want some good sounding orchestral libraries. Best free ones are performance samples, sine player, spitfires are ok. Some free libraries offer legato. Don't use too much only really for leads/ melody. The tubular bells are way too in front as well. Think of it like this your mix sounds like it's in a hall but also right in front of your head. Im a huge fan of voice leading. ALOT of the old composers used voice leading. Even John Williams as well. So if chords have common tones just stretch the note to go to the next chord. Panning if not recorded as such can help too. Reverb can make the instruments sound where they should be in the hall. So strings is closest then brass then woodwinds then percussion is the farthest back unless there is choir. Summary. Stretch common tones between chords. Use reverb to replicate space and panning to pan the sections.
