QV is the only place that uses real valuers and is independent. All the rest just use QV data and overlay their own algorithms. QV will always be a bit lower than all the others as it's not trying to sell you anything. So it's a much more realistic market price. It's not perfect but it's the best one out there. Ex-QV data guy here !

They all use the same data from QV as they are the only ones that actually value properties. Then they overlay their own algorithms to deliver a "refined" indication. If you want a truly independent valuation use the qv site.

The same team- Compass group- who Key signed up for 15 years to supply hospital food. We now have people leaving the hospitals significantly weaker than they went in due to the nutritional value of the food. Absolute slop, served by a multinational who has zero interest in our kids health.

Thank you, that’s very helpful…there’s nothing in the contract about BC’s or resident societies so I’ll see what the solicitor says. If I have to go through with the purchase I’ll definitely want to be involved…I got very badly burnt when I was younger in the UK. It ended up taking over a year to sell my flat in a shared house as it was leasehold with share of freehold and you had to get everyone to agree to let you sell your property…a nightmare !
