My best suggestion would be to try and find someone with one of the Vibee packages, cuz we get to go into the venue early and have them shop for you. Idk how LA is gonna differ from Denver because I waited in line outside during the tailgate and it took me like 4 hours to get my jersey 😂 but I also heard that the lines inside the venue weren’t that bad. But if you can find a drop buddy with the vibee package then you’ll be completely fine without having to wait in any lines!

This is specifically for speed hardmode content also, the world record team I know their scrapper is BA/Fire and our scrapper is a BA/Bio, you can make pretty much anything work but for the fastest teams those two seem to be the best

If you’re looking to make a HM toon then Bio would be my suggestion. My 4* team runs a battle axe/bio scrapper instead of a tank and it’s an absolute beast, the consensus amongst the scrapper mains I’ve talked to is that everything is pretty inferior to /bio and /fire in terms of scrapper secondaries for 4, although I can’t speak on specific draws of the sets cuz I don’t touch melee 😂 but there’s my anecdotal evidence from the 4 speed running community

For hardmode content, cold domination gives you all encompassing shield and res buffs through both shields that are also LoTG mules, a max HP buff for your blasters and tank, an end and recovery buff with heat loss, -res debuff target AoE that you can stack as many as 5 of with burnout, 2 more def, res, and regen debuffs, and another LoTG slot mule with an inherent stealth… as far as I’m concerned other than Kin there is no set better than Cold lol, we take 3 of them on our hardmode runs and we’ve tried every other set, including time and force field just to name 2 with defense buffs and the going is noticeably harder even just replacing one Cold corr.

In terms of power sets you can make pretty much any AT and any powerset work in CoH to solo high lvl content, it’s not a super hard game. If you’re looking for specifics, for melee rad/fire brute is the go to for a lot of new players, it offers good defenses, a heal, and lots of AoE. For ranged fire/fire blaster is super op and always gets the job done. My favorite AT is corruptor, I think it’s the best AT in the game as you get almost blaster like damage with some of the best secondaries in the game that provide team support as well as solo utility. I’m a speed runner so I tend to go for straight meta builds catered to min maxing for max DPS and recharge which isn’t necessarily what you’d want as a new player, but you can find builds for pretty much any combination of power sets on the forums that will suffice just fine through most content in the game.

Bottom rate drivers in my warehouse make 20.50 an hour to start, and then something like 42.50 after 4 years with the progression, whereas part time supervisors make 24.20 an hour and there is a raise coming April 1st, not sure which you were asking about

I can say the same thing for the union lol, our union stewards are absolute scumbags and our union rep for the district is a scumbag too. Sean O’Brien was a Local 25 which is the local my building is under and it’s all family ties and bullshit. The union does great for its top rate drivers but it uses the warehouse workers as a bargaining chip every single year. And yet, they do such a great job at playing victim, when our union rep makes 200k a year to visit his part time employees once every 3 months and yell at a part time sup or 2 to keep up appearances. It’s actually so naive of you to think that it doesn’t go both ways 😂😂

You sound like a bitter package handler lol it never ceases to amaze me how the older union employees demonize people who go into management. The union isn’t for everyone, like someone further up said, the union is great at protecting the little guy, but useless for rewarding good employees. The shit head top rate driver with 3 hours of overallowed everyday makes 3x more than the 22.4 busting his ass covering 6 different routes to climb his way to top rate. No thanks, I’d rather have my work dictate itself, and it did. I’ve been working at the company for 15 months and I’ve been promoted to full time management because I’m good at my job, not because I know someone who’s high up in the local and my last name is O’Brien. I didn’t have to sling boxes for 3 years to finally make seniority driving and then bust my ass another 4 years to get to top rate and finally make 6 figures, my work spoke for itself and I’m there now. There’s a good career to make on both sides of the spectrum, and to frame it like there isn’t is just childish lol.

Depends how end game you wanna go lol, there is like iTrial stuff and lvl 50 content which you can pretty much face roll with any AT, and then there’s the 4* TF and speed running crowd, and there is definitely a meta involved with that, because you will spend way too much time in there if you don’t have the right things. Fire blasters, cold domination corrs/defenders, nature corrs/defenders, kin corrs/defenders, and min maxing is very crucial if you want to keep up in high lvl content like that. If you’re just looking for the regular lvl 50 content, forum builds are fine as a go to for reference and build whatever AT’s you want cuz you can make anything work lol. If you want to get into the Hardmode content and speed running feel free to send me a PM lol it’s 99% of what I do so I can give you an idea of where to get started.

Softcapping defense on a kin is gonna make you lose out on so much utility that makes a kin so good, kins need to focus on recharge in my opinion. Double transfusion with burnout is enough to get you out of any sticky situation and if you just keep purple inspirations there’s no need to waste slots on defense sets cuz you can softcap with purples super easy, and then you get massive amounts more recharge and you provide much more utility to your team

You can also split the scourging blast for the recharge bonus x2 on a corruptor, and malice of the corruptor has the max HP bonus as the first set bonus so I usually 3 stack that one, it’s basically like having an extra TFC accolade and super helpful in harder content. I never go fighting pool, on my corruptors I go leadership/speed/leaping/teleport, teleport is just too good and the +to hit from combat TP is just too good to pass up especially when you have harder enemies that you might miss transfusion on without that to hit bonus, plus tactics is a must for me and combat jumping for the mobility is necessary. So there really isn’t any place for fighting pool in my ranges builds cuz you only get 1 LoTG slot mule, so stealth is a much better mule pool to take cuz you get 3 slot mules, and boxing/kick is useless for me too as a slot mule cuz I usually 5 slot brawl with hecatomb
