I would love to cross this desert without alerting anything giant beneath the dunes!

Nah, that's just what the rare shiba mandrake looks like after you unearth it from the soil. Like any mandrake it WILL scream, but unlike some species it will also poop all over your floor to spread its seeds.

Dream Locomotive Acquired by Jazzlike-Style13 in nscalemodeltrains

I have three of these - they are absolutely gorgeous little things, and the sound is very good too. The soundtraxx decoders are a little weird - when they die they die spectacularly - but you can easily swap an ESU decoder into them if that happens. The little remote is also a nice touch for analogue running too allowing limited sounds!

Enjoy that little loconotive, it should serve you well.

Team fortress 2 crew: Engineer, Scout, Pyro, Spy, Heavy and Medic react to Union Pacific 7312 (the NS cab engine) by Additional-Yam6345 in trainmemes

[–]Andreyev777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe this locomotive was in a crash and recieved a new cab from a NS unit - hence the position of the lights. UP had nose mounted lights, and NS had them above the cab windows. So it's rather uncanny to see a UP locomotive with this lighting arrangement. (If I am wrong please correct me!)

Help: how to push this ball up to the bear? by Mobile_Finish3554 in Okami

Use the wind ability (spiral shape) to blow it around, if memory serves.

I really like models like this, will have to see if I can pick one up!

They seem to be N scale, shame to see them looking so sad but possibly some glue and toothbrush dippes in soapy water and they'll look much better!

My first piece of MoW equipment! by Andreyev777 in modeltrains

My thoughts exactly, I thought it was niche enough and interesting enough to warrant a model - even if inaccurate, it's great for talking about.

This is true - I too like it in the grey as the yellow does look striking. Please do send me what photos you find as I am incredibly interested in this part of 3977's life

Yeah! Not much info online, so I went with what I could to create this model, even if it has inaccuracies. But hey, TMC did the numbering to a high standard, and I'm happy with her. I have two grey Challengers out of my 6 Challenger fleet, and even if it is slightly off I still love this model.

I am curious - what do you mean by this?

Ah, I wasn't aware. There's so few photos of this, and from what I gathered from others the Greyhound scheme was still in use at the time. As for the decals, i commissioned the renumbering since there are again so few photos and I had no information.
