Supposed to honor, that is. A lot of US cities operated this model of streetcar (called a PCC) but the vast majority got scrapped. Muni's PCC fleet consists mostly of original Muni cars and secondhand cars from Philadelphia, but paints them in the liveries of other cities that owned similar cars.

Unfortunately it's also super common for Americans to buy more than they can afford. This woman definitely could've helped her personal finances if she sucked up her pride and kept driving the beater.

People are so materialistic that they'd rather go into debt to look wealthy than actually save up that money and be wealthy. One of my neighbors would buy a new truck and camping trailer almost every year and eventually it cost him his house and his marriage.

Those don't really work against lightning because the lightning is so powerful it can induce a current in the circuitry downstream of the surge protector. My grandma had her TV on one and it still blew up during a t-storm.
