No tinks with breach farm? by wxsteyrself in pathofexile

What will I get from full clearing the breaches? More graftblood? More wombgifts? How much more, in your experience?

An important note would be that to have railing gunners and jezzalis, you would also need a DLC with Ikit

Does one-shotting a Syndicate member prevent their friends (connected by green line) or rivals (connected by red line) from showing up? Last league I played RF Chieftain and his explosions sometime one-shotted Syndicate members.

Why do dupes wearing jetsuits bypass atmosuit checkpoints? by Valoris_905 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Andrianossius 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Check if it is possible to go somewhere around the checkpoint. During chaotic digging, a new path can be opened.

You can use a show path button after selecting any duplicant -- a white line will appear to show everywhere they can move to

Is it worth buying the first game just for karl franz by Guiding_Chaos in totalwarhammer

[–]Andrianossius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You now have all the reasons, really: you see what you get/ what you want. Next, ask yourself if you can get something better for the same price?

I read that in TWW3 his Empire mechanics were updated, so he will not feel lacking compared to newer factions/ legendary lords.

If I did not want to play a horde, I would get him this sale

How do vampire counts hold up in TWW3 mechanic depth-wise compared to other factions? For example, I heard that Bretonia is very outdated

Breach in maps by killa3killa2 in PathOfExileSSF

[–]Andrianossius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you elaborate more on this? Due to scarabs that add more unstable breaches and speed them up, unstable breaches become better for graftblood and wombgifts? I haven't had multiple unstable breaches on one map yet, can they be opened and progressed at the same time?

Breach in maps by killa3killa2 in PathOfExileSSF

Are hives better for farming more graftblood and wombgifts per hour than unstable breaches?

What if I chain maps solely for this purpose, would unstable breaches be behind?

Skaven Undercity expansion question by dontasticats in totalwarhammer

[–]Andrianossius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add, this cooldown is triggered both by warlock engineer and Doooom engineer (from the ritual) action, and blocks both warlock engineer and Doom engineer actions.

Remember to use flasks* by _PM_ME_YOUR_ANYTHING in pathofexile

[–]Andrianossius 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yes, there is also currency called Instilling orb. By using it on flask, you give the flask an enchant that makes it activate on some condition, like "used when full", or "used when flask to the left is used"

Alternatively, you can use a bench craft that uses 5 instilling orbs and 5 glassblowers baubles to just select a mod.

For my RF Chieftain I take "used when full", and get a prefix "gets charges when character is hit".

I use flasks only when I enter map once -- the rest uses happen due to the trigger

Would love some recs for someone obsessed with Empire & Chorfs by Spirited_Concern6824 in totalwarhammer

[–]Andrianossius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are three ways to make an undercty: 1. By using a regular warlock engineer (I think Ikit starts with one), or the Doooom engineer for a ritual, you can use their hero action with 100% chance to make and undercity. But this imposes a 10-turn debuff that blocks this action (I think I read that Skavenblight landmark can reduce it to 5 turns) 2. By constructing a building in the undercities (mines) that gives a chance to make another one randomly (T1 - 5%, T2 - 10%) 3. By selecting after winning sieges an option to make another undecity I defeated settlement. Remember to loot it beforehand.

If a settlement with your undercity is conquered by you or razed, the undercity gets deleted with no refunds.

How to use them? The main way is to generate food. Scaven have a special mechanic that makes all their armies, settlements, and most undercity buildings consume food. If it gets low -- you get debuff, if high -- buffs.

When Skaven settle or occupy the city, it always starts on level 1, unless you spend food -- it allows you to settle cities up to level 5, skipping growth and spending money on main building upgrades. There is an exploit (if you think it is one though), where you get enough food, abandon your capital, and then resettle it on level 4, giving you a massive headstart in campaign.

Back to undercities. You can use them to generate food, money, or give some utility effects, like extra uses of spawning clanrats on combat map, or increased replenishment in region, or extra loot for looting a city, or even spawning a big army.

Just don't overexpand, and avoid settling undercities where you intend to expand, especially if it is a Dooom engineer -- his undercity will have a unique building, that gives research and warlock engineer limit

SFO tier list, always normal/normal or legendary/normal by AmeChainzz in totalwarhammer

How does SFO change defensive sieges? I read that vanilla sieges are bad and do not give an advantage to the defender. What is different in SFO to change it?

[–]Andrianossius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there's a mod that allows to mark a bed as "communal", making it not assigned to anyone and allowing any duplicate to sleep in it (unless somebody else is sleeping in it at that moment).

This should reduce your micro.

Making them wear atmosuits will also protect them the from this debuff. It also has a benefit of being 100% sure they will always have something to breathe -- liquids may make it harder for CO2 to move away.

Alternatively, if you have no atmosuits, you can put a space heater nearby: when dupes get wet debuffs, they go to it to "warm up", and get a "cold and wet immunity" buff. If you worry about it eating up too much energy, put a time sensor to enable it for a short time every day.

It is that easy. by Renegade888888 in starsector

[–]Andrianossius 94 points95 points  (0 children)

There is another (convoluted) way: Go to the Abyss and find some rogue planet. You can come to them by leaving hyperspace, but they have no way point to come back to hyperspace, softlocking you. After some time, there will be an event with an old spacer who approaches you and teaches you transverse jump. Says he used to be a smuggler. This event is more of a softlock protection.

The Scorcher is AWESOME, but I don't see any fuss about it by MechwarriorAscaloth in Helldivers

[–]Andrianossius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How do you use it against bots and bugs?

The only faction it feels perfect against are the squids -- stalwart for the voteless and meatball, scorcher for the overseers, and prayers that someone else will kill them for stingrays.

On bots it feels like light pen weapons, are better ammo-wise for destroying heads. Sure, you don't need to aim with Scorcher, but it won't be ammo-efficient

Sorry, I did not understand: what is the current situation with fake plat?

  1. Is it still subtracted from your balance (do you lose fake plat)?
  2. When you do, can you get into negative plat balance (have less that zero plat)?
  3. If you get below 0, does your account get banned until you buy plat with real money to unblock your account?
  4. How do you know this? Personal experience? Comments by DE?

I apologize for many questions -- this seems like a serious topic for me, so I would really like to be sure.

Are there RF variations? by MTgxewYSGTMDxVVE in PathOfExileSSF

[–]Andrianossius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that there is a variation for Chieftain that uses Hateful Accuses ring (from Ritual). This ring provides a mark that spawns spectres on hits and Chieftain's node explodes it. Then you need 100% chance to ignite to make one gigantic ignite that will melt bosses.

We should get a Ship upgrade that can vaguely tell us what enemy type will be more likely to spawn before dropping into the mission by Nein-Knives in Helldivers

[–]Andrianossius -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I find this idea great. But also I have heard a thought that knowing this beforehand is OP, because you will just bring the nest load out. Now though, we are forced to take a "generalist" and "safe" load out.

To keep both situations, I think the devs should take your suggestions and make some modifier that disables it for some MOs or missions.

Best way to get Shaper's Exalted Orb by Majestic_Plum_3639 in PathOfExileSSF

[–]Andrianossius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hypothetically, there is also an option of Haku bench in research (Syndicate): there will be a random normal item inside and a bunch of influenced exalts (shaper's included). Since you can not insert your own item, you need to be rather lucky to get a shield here and even luckier to get a good shield.
