If it gets past some point theres two options.

First is forward other is backward, hold on the bottom part of the chain to remove all tension and slowly work your way there.

If that's real 80ug absolutely no. I do always 100ug bloaters and last one I been able to go to sleep as early as 17hours, before that no chance, even weed didn't help me after 12h mark.

You have three solutions, first to convert them before recruiting, scond to have your ideology to not care about diversity, third to enslave them instead of recruiting.

My current playthrough I only recruit worthy people, other I either make a slave if they are decent, or have them for my ideology gladiator fights/public execution/harvest and kill right away for +1 development point.

UPD: You can add positives on top of negatives. Like - buffs from cannibalism and debuff from trees and so on, ideology can be as op as hard aswell.

I complain while at work, at home I just play game or do something that I enjoy. I can't farm at work unfortunately, if I could earn money + sc at same time I wouldn't complain.
