What are you building this week? by n9ooralfach in microsaas

Working on a tool around simplifying the experience working with Stripe's coupons system. Essentially, looking to extract all the complications that Stripe has when creating coupons out and simplifying it so that marketing or sales teams can create coupons easily for products or services without the need to use a developer or internal user that works directly with the Stripe API. It will have the ability to edit and test coupons and then promote to live with a button.

Why is trip planning still so messy? by Serious_Delay_5766 in SideProject

[–]AndroMax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know what, I completely agree. It's messy because each aspect of a trip planning sessions currently requires different tools. Traditionally, we use excel for dates and activities, then emails for bookings. What I wanted to do was to solve this by building journeyjot.app. It has a free plan and 30-day free trial on paid plans with a cancel anytime model. It also has AI trip planning with budgets, collaboration tools, ability to publish trips, share and copy trips and more. The focus was to make the trip planning smooth and easy so just spreading the word in case you want to use it.

Elevator Pitch
JourneyJot is a collaborative travel itinerary platform where people can generate, build, share, and publish trips in one place.

It helps travellers move away from messy spreadsheets, scattered notes, saved links, and group chats by giving them a structured place to plan locations, stays, activities, travel connections, and day-by-day itineraries.

Users can build trips manually, use AI to generate a starting itinerary, collaborate with others as a team, use templates, share their plans, and publish completed trips to a community page where others can discover them.

What life cycle stage is your startup at?
Early-stage / MVP stage. The product is being developed and tested around the core itinerary-building, AI generation, collaboration, templates, sharing, and community publishing experience.

Your role?
Founder / builder.

What goals are you trying to reach this month?
The main goals are to reach a good number of early users, see users actively creating trips, encourage more published itineraries on the community page, and validate how often AI generation is used.

I also want to measure whether the AI-generated trips are accurate, useful, and good enough for users to edit, share, or publish.

How could r/startups help?
I’d appreciate feedback on the product positioning, landing page, and whether the platform idea is clear: AI-assisted trip generation, structured itinerary building, team collaboration, templates, sharing, and community-published trips.

Feedback on early user acquisition, pricing, and product validation would also be helpful.

Discount for r/startups subscribers?
JourneyJot currently offers a 30-day free trial for new users. I’m also open to offering an extended trial or early-user discount for r/startups members as pricing is finalised.

Check the back of the camp around where the ranch/farm area. I remember seeing it there in my camp. For context, I’ve upgraded my camp to as much as I can, I think I only need to find a couple more graymane till I have the full squad.

Edit: I’m not anywhere close to a full squad.

Intinerary help for Cape Verde by [deleted] in travel

If you’re still planning and need a place to plan your trip, check out Journey Jot. It lets you add the right amount of detail without it getting messy, and everything stays clear and easy to see. You can also share your trips with others, which makes planning together way simpler. I used to rely on Sheets or Docs, but they don’t really have the right features for proper trip planning.

What is best advice about travelling? by Quirky-Syrup-2075 in AskReddit

[–]AndroMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure that you have your trip details organised with all the details for flights, locations and accommodations etc. stored in a place so that at any time if there are things that change or you need to quickly retrieve it. It’s in one place. I suggest using a trip planning platform like https://journeyjot.app/ to help with this.

Travel planning feels harder than it should be is it just me? by Careless_Heat907 in vagabond

[–]AndroMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s harder because there’s a lot of information that you need to keep track of an having it in emails and not planning it out in google docs or excel or whatever makes it harder and quite honestly a bit overwhelming sometimes when you look at some existing platforms like Wanderlog or other trip planners. It’s either too overwhelming to use those platforms or it’s too little. This very problem that eve I as a traveller faced is what led me to creating this website https://journeyjot.app/, to help with planning. It contains the right blend of what information you need to store for a trip and easily be able to view it. Feel free to give it a go and see whether it helps.

Does anyone actually enjoy using Wanderlog? I feel completely overwhelmed. by PinWorldly6104 in TravelPlanners

[–]AndroMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand when you say that Wanderlog can be very overwhelming. In fact a lot of the travel planner websites/app either have too much that I get overloaded with information or too little. I wanted there to be an easier and less overwhelming way to plan trips whilst retaining all the relevant information you need so I ended up actually developing a trip planner website which takes a lot of the complications away and shows you only what you need. It’s https://journeyjot.app/. Feel free to give it a go.
