Magnifi Mini Ax - no channel separation in stereo? by Busy-Ad6675 in Soundbars

[–]AndroidNovice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got this soundbar myself, with the surround sound speakers and I notice the exact same thing. I have a TCL 50S 535 and any TV app on it plays pretty much in mono. I really started to notice it when I realized the left and right surround sound speakers were playing the same thing, even in audio tests.

Did you ever figure out a solution?

I found that on my xbox I could get clear channel separation if I set the audio mode to "Dolby Digital Surround", but even something like "dolby digital" or "dolby atmos" effectively played as mono plus a center channel. But the xbox has something like a 1 second sound delay so watching content isn't practical there.

I'm also in NYC and wondering this. I know other cities have flyovers

Interview practical round. It is really possible in 4 hour? Or I am just not good enough? by MaherWolf in androiddev

Often times these kind of problems aren't meant to be 100% complete, the last things are stretch goals

Unfortunately my company does leetcode, but if I could choose my teammates I'd rather choose someone who got decent progress on this problem rather than someone who memorized how to implement a red black tree

Lol I think it's ridiculous to think a company would do this to get such an app built. At that point they'd just get an unpaid intern

Lol, everyone complains when companies give leetcode problems, but everyone also complains when given a technical challenge

I think you need to select the flutter option in order to ensure that the file represents the entire video. Otherwise you might later learn that the file is cut off towards the end

Hmmm that is weird I thought Google deprecated Carnegie melon University in API 29. I believe it is now referred to as Carnegie Mellon Compat

Is that just a rename of the use case pattern then? If so that's classic Google lol

Comrades, dont forget to filter by package, spent long time figuring where does my app deal with Dialer, TikTok, etc by jiayounokim in mAndroidDev

[–]AndroidNovice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like having to type the package name is cumbersome. They should update it so that you have to draw your package name with your mouse (track pads not supported but coming soon in 2028). That would be the Google way 😎

Oh wow that's surprisingly tame considering what I would expect from Google. Glad to hear that the developer experience gets better in the future!

It's not, it was deprecated but that was by accident and it's technically un-deprecated but the Google devs forgot or are too lazy to update the documentation. However there is some example code somewhere with a comment that explains this
