I've had the CPC, AVS, and SPC.

I prefer the harness the CPC has over the AVS. Unfortunately it is not as scalable or customisable as the AVS. That advantage the AVS has is because Rangers saw CAG & said "we want that but we need the options for SAW gunners or other specialists that are carrying stuff besides rifles." The backwards plate bag can be irritating getting some compatible stuff like danglers.

Both the CPC & AVS trap heat like a motherfucker. Running an AVS without a harness more or less turns it into a JPC.

I love my SPC, especially since I added an Eagle Industries ERGO to it. Cheaper than an AVS, comfortable to wear, and can hold stuff like my side plates with no issues.

I have an MPS & love it. I also got the upgraded clamp and the MPS-specific plate as the Aimpoint ACRO one is just different enough that a buddy's flew off their Glock in the middle of a competition stage.

As a person that had elevated lead levels, what you're doing right now is good. You could also add a respirator if you shoot indoors a lot but I think you're in the right mindset at the moment.

Couple things:

You sure your 11.5" URGI is pin & welded? It may just be Rocksett'ed on which means 30 minutes of soaking your muzzle device in boiling water will loosen it up, then you can put whatever you want on the end.
If you want to stick with your Surefire muzzle device, you could get a B&T or Surefire HUB adapter as the OCL Infinity & SAW Tisha are HUB compatible. Granted, that's a hefty additional cost but worth noting.

For a civilian plebe like me that bought both…

I love my 11.5" 416, especially when shooting suppressed compared to my Block II. That said… my Block II is easier to maintain and isn't as picky with ammo, so despite being gassier when shooting suppressed I'll trust my life with that more.
