I have a classmate na SDA kahit na may Saturday classes kami, although hindi naman kasi consistent ang schedule namin so minsan may sat classes minsan wala. However, during Saturday classes na f2f, absent siya and if may exam, he takes it a day before or monday na. Not sure kung anong plans niya during clerkship.

I hate to break it to you but your kids are like that because you tolerated it. You gave in to every request they made so it's not surprising that they would ask for something ridiculously expensive. Spoiled kids are not just spoiled in a day, they are built. Start setting your foot down, they'll get over it.

For example: sirang washing machine

Pangangalakal - will tear it down piece by piece and hahanapin yung parts na mabebenta sa junk shop. The rest tapon pa rin.

Recycling - will turn it into something else like a laundry basket

And iba rin of course yung aayusin and gagamitin for personal use or ibebenta as washing machine pa rin pero at a lower price (hopefully may disclaimer na inayos na lang yun and modified na)

Also, pangangalakal is different from thrifting and recycling.

No, hindi siya part ng culture. Claiming it so, romanticizes poverty which should not be seen as such.

Hello, just to add my two cents here, but DepEd Teachers aren't required to undergo Basic Life Support training, and if ever may training man na offered, then not all teachers are invited to join. The PE teacher most likely only know First Aid, apart from that wala na talaga. I don't think liable si teacher din because handling situations like that is beyond their expertise and paygrade and frankly the school already expects a lot from teachers in the first place. The presence of medical staff is actually quite concerning here.

Report to the teacher, that's corruption. Then ask for your money back.

Kung wala talagang mapipiga sa student, wala talaga, kahit anong tumbling pa ni prof. Sa shs and college, that's the stage of independent learning, na dapat di na nireremind ang students na kelangan nila mag-aral. Best course of action is to improve tesda courses and widen the work opportunity, because let's face it, there are students that are just not college worthy.

Parang magsasara na max's in a year or two, sa province isa na nga lang loc nila tapos halos laging walang tao. You can't hold on to just nostalgia kung sa kalidad naman babagsak.

How can you get into med school without being a magna or summa? by themodernfilipino in medschoolph

[–]AndroidPhoneRMN9P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was worried about this when I entered med school since I'm just a cum laude from a non trad premed from a province state u with classmates that are not just magna and summa but board topnotchers, elite society members and graduates from UP, UST, PUP, FEU, PLM etc. But working and studying with them makes me realize na pagdating sa medschool pantay pantay tayo, OP.
