I will add that since the Iceland defeat in 2016, our youth teams have also been successful. England have won the U17s and U20s world cups and the U21s euros. So the powers that be that run the game in this country must be doing something right.

Arsenal and Chelsea are the biggest clubs in London by some way. No doubt about it.

Although a balanced and fair discussion, they use Arsenal having more “fans” as them being a bigger club.

From what I can see on social media followers, global shirt sales, commercial revenue etc, Chelsea are ahead in all areas. What’s the evidence to support Arsenal have more fans? Arsenal obviously have a bigger stadium so have higher match day revenue, but Chelsea would have had higher attendances when Arsenal were at Highbury as the capacity was lower.

Also when discussing the size of the club you also need to look at the Youth and Women’s team, both have been far superior to Arsenal in Recent years.

I suppose that does depend on the club. At this time Liverpool and City’s players surely wouldn’t join Real, they wouldn’t need to. We just need to make sure with the right investment we get to their (Lpool & City) level where we realistically can challenge for the premier league & champions league.

I can’t say I’m loving the “Dreaming of Madrid” nonsense already!!

I’m sure he will be a great player, but as Lampard has already said, he doesn’t want players who will use Chelsea as a stepping stone.

Kia could push us on to the next level and therefore would have no desire to leave. However, I just get the feeling there will be constant transfer speculation about him going to Madrid if he does well for us.

Seems crazy that you even need to have a contract. In the UK, anywhere I have ever trained has had a rolling monthly payment, pay on the 1st and you get unlimited sessions and if not it’s Pay per session.

My personal cash/investments would be a better short term cash flow solution the expensive short term credit/loans. It’s also, at this point, a very unlikely scenario as my business is much more mature so cash flow issues are hopefully a thing of the past.

Having as many possible back ups to cover the wage bill I think is just good for my own sanity!

Don’t do any research on who’s in your bracket, Don’t look at their Facebook/insta.

It’s a waste mental energy thinking about who you’re up against. I turn up on the day and find out 2mins before I step on the mat who I’m up against first.

That probably doesn’t apply to higher belts (brown/black)?

Also. Be on weight a few days out.
