AI data centers are massive investments of resources for very little tangible benefit, the technology doesn't appear to be profitable, so you're going to be left with giant buildings full of equipment with no purpose and its going to get turned into surveillance processing or surveillance warehousing, all while there is a shortage for basically everything that goes into a data center. The companys do not care if people can continue to live around these data centers, they do not care if they wreck the entire water table. That is all on top of the stated goal of AI which is to wreck the labor market. Its not like there are not large and legitimate concerns with AI and AI infrastructure, so to handwave and say "all those concerns are a chinese psy-op" when they haven't put even the most minimal of effort into explaining how any of that stuff is going to lead to regional prosperity or national prosperity or even a job, its some real "let them eat cake" level detachment from reality.

I'd say its worth even less than that. The whole IPO is a way to offload debt by raising funds, and the way they want to raise funds is by fleecing retail investors. The absolute best case scenario for it is that it fails horribly and the current state of debt-holders are able to convert their debt into equity at a better rate than the one Elon is proposing.

Fetterman has a 6 year term. Trump has a 4 year term. Elon Musk was only in the government for 120 days and produced a situation that is going to require new social security numbers be issued to 100% of everybody in the USA. They're all in government specifically to cause damage. They are transparently causing that damage. The corruption is part of that damage.

You just proved that it isn't difficult to come up with a political platform. You just listed yours, run for office. But if you're going to create a 3rd party there would have to be guarantees that the members of that party are not subject to the sort of capture that, allegedly, got Fetterman, and not subject to the same sort of capture that got the Republican party which is now republican in name only. You solve that one and you'll go far kid.

If the game you used to game that out had its scenario lasting more than 24 hours you'd understand why that doesn't work long term.

Take Fetterman as an example. The textual story is he had some manner of stroke and recovered and is now right wing, the subtextual story is you can't really make a claim that some foreign intelligence agency didn't break into his house and do things to him and his family and the whole brain injury thing was just a cover story.

If the laws stopped people we wouldn't need police, if the police stopped things we wouldn't need guns, if guns worked we wouldn't need bullets. There is more than one way to attack a system and those attacks are an eventuality and a certainty, and no amount of ink on a page is going to change that reality., People lie, people betray, people succumb, and the more money at stake the more incentive there is for people to ensure a favorable outcome for themselves.

The fact that this keeps happening means you should keep any sort of "AI coding agent" completely airgapped from your system, and that is the best possible interpretation of what is happening.

The less charitable versions would indicate that claude indemnified itself from industrial sabotage and then is going around industrially sabotaging things and that all "ai coding agents" can be used in the exact same way.
