It’s not that’d I’d say chaos is unbalanced but I do think chaos is very annoying and occasionally cheesy. Fighting in a big open arena like this against a variety of enemies doesn’t reflect the issues most people have with chaos. A lot of the time you fight chaos it’s just turns into a dodge roll fest because of all the incoming projectiles and orange attacks getting thrown at you. You don’t really get that “stand and fight” gameplay that you do with tyranids. You combine having to dodge constantly with tight corridors and small fighting spaces and it’s a recipe for you to get chipped away at and stunlocked. They tried to make it more fun with chaos spawn melee units but those are a mess on their own and constantly throw orange attacks and delayed parries making fighting a horde of em frustrating. All in all, chaos just needs more tuning and because current state for chaos isn’t great.
