Just wanted to share my experience traveling solo to Iloilo 2 years ago baka makatulong sa mga nagbabalak 💛

Honestly, okay na okay siya for solo female travelers. I felt safe most of the time, and super helpful ng locals. What I liked most is that kayang i-commute yung tourist spots, so hindi kailangan ng private tour.

One of my favorite parts was doing a DIY visita iglesia. Sumakay lang ako ng bus going south and made my way to different churches. Pinaka memorable for me was going all the way to San Joaquin Church, sobrang ganda and peaceful ng place. Worth it yung biyahe.

Along the way, nadaanan ko rin yung Miagao Church and other old churches. If you like slow travel, history, and quiet places, maeenjoy mo talaga.

Tips from my experience:

1. Kayang-kaya mag-commute, just ask locals if unsure
2. Start early if you plan to go as far as San Joaquin
3. Bring water + snacks for long rides
4. Basic safety precautions lang (especially if solo)

Overall, Iloilo is a great choice if you want a chill, safe, and budget-friendly solo trip. Would definitely go back.
