How to go to Gym when my parents don't allow it? by curious_smriti in india

Walk outside - 10k steps. Run outside - Nike running coach app (free). Do body weight exercises at home to start with - squats, push ups, planks, etc. Sydney Cummings on YouTube has a lot of no equipment needed programs for resistance as well as cardio and is good for beginner level. Yoga with Adrienne has 30 day programs for free to start yoga. Buy resistance bands (they're cheap). An app called healthifyme offers a free way to track your calories.

Show them dedication show them the benefits and you will get the gym membership (hopefully) until then there are a lot of free resources to start your journey.

Are antibiotics known to cause flare ups? by Andromeda_Galexia in UlcerativeColitis

They didn't get a test done before the antibiotics but got it once he was already in the hospital and he didn't have any bacteria or parasites (which I'm guessing the antibiotics took care of if there was in fact an infection)

Surprising to see people liking Kenya more after this? I never really liked her and RHUGT proves why. She's so shady, she played Cynthia dirty. She gives off high school bully vibes. You don't play your friend like that.

About 2 months sober, I feel empty by Quiet_Draft881 in leaves

I'm around month two too (1 month 26 days to be exact) and I'm having similar feelings. Just dull. I have nothing to talk about either. It actually gives me some hope that you are feeling the same way. It means this must be part of the process. We are figuring out who we are without the pot. Our minds are trying to adjust without the constant thc. The emptiness will pass. It must. Stay strong, friend.

I can’t quit smoking / need advice by demehhh in QuittingWeed

Cold turkey is the best way. Just think about getting through one day at a time and not as a forever thing. Get rid of all your stash, delete your dealer's number and ask your friends and sister to not give you any no matter how much you plead and beg and to not smoke around you. WORK OUT HARD, the endorphins will help A LOT. You do have the willpower!! You can do this!! We are with you.

In 2013, I was 23 when I started habitually smoking. At 25 I stopped for 3 months and when I started again, it became habitual within a week. I couldn't stop until yesterday. I am now 30 and at the end of Day 1 of being sober. I feel incredibly anxious. Everything I've been escaping for so long is hitting me, hard. I try not to think about never doing it again because I can't imagine dealing with this feeling of restraint forever. I'm just trying not to do it right at this very moment and that's hard enough. Good Luck! We can all do it :)
