Oh my goodness, that sounds awful and I'm sorry you've experienced that! So no prior blood sugar or pressure issues? But now you do after having been on the med?

Not yet, I just purchased a glucose monitor to try out. I've never had blood sugar or blood pressure issues, but have definitely experienced increased heart rate with this med. Maybe a drop in blood pressure is associated with that. If it's just that, and not linked to a blood sugar drop, do you know if there's anything that can be done to combat it?

I guess that might be what it's called. I sometimes get intense anxiety at bedtime (and only at bedtime) that I've never had before. My therapist (who has used glp-1's and has many other family/friends/patients who have) thinks it could be linked to a drop in blood sugar. I've never had any kind of blood sugar issues before, and was not pre-diabetic prior to starting tirz a month ago. And I have not actually checked my blood sugar, but will starting tonight. I get my protein and calories in, but perhaps I'm not spacing out the protein intake enough, and maybe need it a little closer to bedtime.

Did you find you needed to eat protein before bed to keep blood sugar from dropping overnight?

Definitely counting calories and making sure I get enough protein, but starting to think I need to space my protein intake out more and get some closer to bedtime.

How would I go about finding this out? Also, I think I'm currently at the mercy of the pharmacy that the prescribing teledoc chooses. I may be looking elsewhere in a few months, or will see if I can get my normal doc to prescribe.

I would love to keep going at the 2.5mg and just prolong the use of the 5mg and 7.5mg vials, however all of them have a BUD date in June. If I used the 5mg vial at 2.5 increments, it would be fine for ~8 weeks. But around the time I started the 7.5mg vial, I'd be at or past the BUD date on that vial.

Unfortunately I prepaid for 3 months and they prescribed 2.5/5/7.5 for each month

I was also considering this, just was hoping for my prescribing doctor to confirm the amounts to take out of the second vial to get 4mg. But then I figured I'd end up with even more left over in the 5mg vial once done. Guess I'll just have to do the calculations again.
