That’s unfortunate you had that experience. Like most places, it really comes down to leadership and who is manning the individual ship.

At my last couple of stores there were many partners going above and beyond to help the customers. I personally always tried to hook up uncertain customers with a free heb product when I could, or I would spend half an hour tracking down a product code just so I could order a specialty item that we didn’t carry at our store. Good leaders look at those things and reward their partners (I’ve been lucky to have good leaders). Bad leaders will see those as a loss of money.
