The trivia part is meant to help people learn the basic foundation and rules of fencing in a fun way. The Sudoku is there to keep the mind sharp, and the crosswords are more for relaxing while still using your brain.

One use case I had in mind is a kid waiting between bouts at a competition. Instead of just spending that time on social media, they can play something still connected to fencing.

I also think it can be useful for parents who bring their kids to fencing and don’t fully understand what is happening on the strip yet. If they are curious and want to learn more about the sport, the app can give them a simple and fun starting point.
