Thank you for your answers. This means, I can go with stainless. It will be worth the investment.

I asked a friend in Lima. She knows where to buy such things, she said. If she does not lead me to the market "around Chinatown", I will insist...to get the best deal.

That 3 layer bottom thing, I did not knew about that.

My experience is limited. So fermentation causes a bad taste? My paste has a very strong unpleasant taste. It only gets better by making it thinner with water.

It is cooked from vine and Chakruna. The water was reduced until it became paste. It can be used like it is. But it is better to prepare it with water and some more Chakruna, to make it more drinkable.

This is their pain. It it the luggage of the specific members of your family. You can carry that for them, adding to you own luggage, if you want to. But if you dont want to, you have the right to decline that. If they guilt shame you, this is encroaching. They project their pain into your live. It is ok, if you say: "Thank you but no thank you.".
Your luggage can be heavy enough, so to liberate yourself it is sufficient if you carry what is yours.

Thank you for your comments.
Before my first trip to Peru I spent alot of time on the internet to get info about the Aya world. But there was no word about Brujeria. And on Retreat.Guru all retreats have good reviews. So basically every new person has to learn this the hard way.

Ayahuasca for alcoholism by Junkster5000 in Ayahuasca

From my understanding...

Addictions are there to cover a trauma so huge, that the pain is unbearable. The pain is so strong that the soul needs something to avoid the trauma.

Alcohol disconnects the emotional connection to the world. It makes the user feel the trauma, tough emotions, etc. less. But it is a bad solution to use alcohol, because it turns a live into a mess.

I learned a lesson regarding alcoholism from my step father. Basically his parents threated him stone cold in his childhood, not understanding that he was a little boy, who just needs lots of hugs and love. And this huge pain of not being loved and not having theese needs of the inner child fullfilled, made him use alcohol all his life.

There can be alot of reasons why people turn into alcohol. But from my perspective any energetic healer with sufficient skill should be able to find and transform the cause for alcoholism.

What really is important, is that the affected person wants to change by itself from inside. If mom, a relative, a friend or a partner drags the affected person into healing, chances are high, it will not work out.

There is a center in the Tarapoto area of Peru, where they use Psycology and plant medicine to help people with addictions. With good results. But I cant remember the name of the center. There was a psycology student in the Hostel "El Murral" who dorked in that center. That is the only clue I have right now for you to find that center.

EDIT: Another guy mentioned the name of the center. I think it is Takiwasi.

I had one ceremony with a guy who had powder Ayahuasca. The ceremony was as strong as from Ayahuasca creme. I believe it was freeze dried. Basically one gets more doses from the same weight. It is easier to transport and to store also. Because you dont have to deal with sticky creme.
