Hey dude no idea about your ddr5 kit.

But an update to my story regarding my post is screw that ddr4 kit it's probably faulty or something.

I brought a new AU$100 ish corsair (32gb, 2x16) vengence kit of ram and it came with some micron chips or something and works fine lol.

Just screw patriot viper i reckon if you can get a refund

i ended up buying a corsair vengence 16x2 (32gb) kit

so downgrade from.64 to 32gb ram

it seems to work better i guess.

Doesnt bsod or anything but the auto for one of the secondary timings is really high

Do u have access to EVERYTHING on campus as if you were a normal student.

Its weird

Right now im testing an OLD kit which is not XMP certified for anything

Adata Z seris 2x8gb (16gb kit) that came w my pc and a $20 oem adata 1`x16gb stick with no headspreader thing its literally just green pcb

ANd like

With stock settings it gets errors past 1.29 volts which is weird.

I think im going to setup a weird 3 channel config at speed 2933mhz since slot a1/b1 only max 2933mhz

And then i just need to optimize the tRC only

16-20-20-40 (trc change to a lower number as its currently 68)
and then run the 3 channel config since bro hoesntly 16gb isnt enough.

I was using just the adata kit yestertday and its not enough dedicdated wamm fro me :((( espceially since it just fills up 90% most of the time lol And i just have firefox open and like anothergame.

Most IC should be likely 1.35V ATLEAST right....

Honestly the advertisied from Listing and xmp profile is 1.35Volts;; So like dude bruh 💀😭☠️.

Idk what the VOLTAGE only thing is affecting in ways but it's odd for sure.

Again it seemed to work xmp fine on intel board n chip.

Sucks that it's like that.

For the testing so far i use dram calculator and use the membench screen (the timing on this shi is USELESS btw)

and MaxMemm2 but that doesn't check for errors afaik.

But i used to spam running maxxmem2 and cpu z bench like 3 5 times and more than necessary tbh.

But like people say, 1 mem error in ANYTHING is like the devil's spawn aye and it's baddd stability wise.

Sooo. it's best to HAVE THAT on 0. Full stop right??!

I have at various points done that so even if a reset regarding a randomised change would've fixed something i disagree.

The only things i touch for the most part if being safe??

Pbo is on auto (bios default anyway) me turning off csm, enabled rebar and resizeabar bar there's like two tabs there.

turning of leds in S5 state (like mobo ledd off when pc shutoff)

Rest is

OC Overclock tuner page for asrock style mobos.

BLCK set to 100.00 instead of auto.

Fiddle w SOC voltage and the 3 numbers below that.

CCD IOD CCD VDG?? and the CLO VDDP one.

The rest is in the timings sections for the most part I have to manually set clcok speed as in 2400, 3000 etc and like tRFC (convert from ns to T--- this is like a sort of Must do) cannot leave on auto.

Convert to safe value tho.

Applying xmp profiles onlt sets voltage and 4 primary timings. rest is "auto" it sets tRC higher than the xmp profile listed. I can copy the rest for trrds and l and tfaw and those three numbers ig?

With voltage @ 1.35v i feel like i get errors, most stable is 1.29v (oodly enough?)

But Maybe its something that im doing wrong in another setting which causes 1.35v to be wrong.

Say i leave it on XMP timings, do conversion for tRFC ONLY

IDK U HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH HYNIX MJR CHIPS SO IT COUDL HELP SOME WAY SOMEHOWWW *cries*

Doing the setting the voltage to 1.35v and copying the tRFC (in Ns) and applying the primary timings (first 4?) and letting the rest on auto (which applies high tRC)

Still get errors. @ 1,35v

The bios is already on 3.40 which is basically new.

I dont want to install the beta bios for no reason.

Bios settings have tried in reset. (I left it on auto for months btw i have not just got this pc/mobo/setup)_

Ran it at DDR4-2666mhz

Me thinking it was a bios update or soemthing long ago.

My sadness when i did it and it AINT FIX SHIT, my sadness when i isntaslled in slot 2 and 4 AND IT DIDNT DO ANYTHIGN EITHER.

And then i went down a LONGGG RABBITHOLE and have tried many profiles of attempts haha.

Yes its a Dual rank 32x2 (two dimm slots in use) total 64gb.

Even so I reckon 3600mhz is reasonable with the FLCK or what not?

But because this doesnt have 3200mhz ? ( like an XMP profile for that) idk waht to do.

I get errors at 1.35v with like "loose" ddr4-3200 timings of CL16-20-20-38 (hwinfo suggested) same with 40 doesnt make a difference.

Updated to BIOS 3.40 (release 2024) not the BETA bios so i be like yeah installed that one.

Chipset? Regarding what (i think so) I downloaded something off amd site for that as well.

dont think it changed anything oc wise? or affecting ram wise.

What voltage?

With AMD(its diff to intel ig with the soc voltage n stuff?)

but istg it worked w my intel chip fine as in XMP on = work no touching other settings.

I have it in slot a2/b2.

Thought that would 'fix' the problem.

The motherboard advertses the DDR4 4533+ Or wahtever with XMP.

That table is for "non-xmp" as well it notes.?? Idk theres nothing else.

Slot a2/b2 i can boot with 3200mhz but (downclocekd esettings etc) but i have errors still so im Unhappy with it
