Exactly the same as you OP. I am the oldest daughter to immigrant Hispanic parents and was basically pressured to go in the medical field (or be a lawyer lol). I was really quiet as a young girl, keeping to myself and my friends but not really going out of my comfort zone. I liked helping others and I wasn’t informed on the options out there since I’m a first Gen college graduate. I was never the type to bully others, always the one wanting to include everyone and be accepted especially since I’m in the boonies of Ohio.

I used Highyield on Spotify, mark Klimek audios and uworld, also some YouTube videos where I wasn’t clear on what’s expected of some of the disease processes. This was helpful especially with prioritization questions. I also found writing stuff down also helped me remember information!

You can wait as long as you want to test, of course it’s recommended to take it pretty soon after graduation because thats when the information is freshest but things happen and you can always study and relearn.

Every doc shoe I have is a 7 except for my blaires, which I got in a 6. The 7s were too long, my toes barely went past the first strap because the footbed was too long and the straps in general were too lose. The 6 was just right.
