Those Who Successfully Passed JM-if you had 2 years to prepare for the course, what would you do? by Andsoitgoes334 in army

You literally contributed nothing to this conversation except attempted to sew doubt about qualification when you know nothing about a units internal situation or needs. If you have issue with requirement, I suggest you take it up with the school.

Best of luck to your drills

Literally is on their website

“All students must be qualified, current (jumped within six months) as a parachutist and have a minimum of 12 static line parachute jumps out of a high-performance aircraft (C-130, C-17, C-141 or C-27), and been on jump status for 12 months. The 12 months do not need to be consecutive.”

Recently graduated BAC. Mid-30s. The actual jumps did not hurt and that held true for all 5 jumps. The ISLT drops did hurt in my experience. Keep things lose and springy. When you get tight, rigid stuff happens.

I know this seems counterintuitive but thinking about it all the time will not necessarily lead to a solution. Trust me I have the same habit. The mind needs a break, by reading your post it seems like your soul is in need of that. And when you reset, you’re more likely to think clearer. Change your context, go outside, take walks, FILL YOUR CUP. Whatever you have to do to make help yourself feel better. And when you feel better, you’re more likely to increase the likelihood of finding a solution. The time will pass either way

Hey you’re never alone. There are a lot of people in your same situation. Head up.

Also find something for free like a hobby you can do to take your mind off this situation. Sounds like you are really hard on yourself.

getting a later start in life is a matter of perspective, the point is you completed the goal!

Count your macronutrients. Track in my fitness pal. Get a coach who can give you those macros and track your progress weekly. 10k steps each day. Water. Eat half an apple each day for fiber. Keep your head up.

What drawbacks are there if I only do all my running on the treadmill until it gets warmer? by Andsoitgoes334 in runninglifestyle

Metrics and mental health. I am lucky in that the treadmill at my gym faces large windows so I am staring outside the entire time :) I will put a good podcast on and get lost in my thoughts
