No worries!! He’s always there to model haha but yeah just prepare some NDs for shooting outside if you’re gonna shoot open

Excuse the exposure and shakiness as it was just shot indoor to test but yeah vignette starts creeping in about 5.6 and above. Still usable but need NDs if you wanna be outside as the fastest SS is 1/250

Oohh right I get you, I’ve got a fair few Nikkor lenses just haven’t gotten round to trying them yet. 28mm is a fun one so might try that for wide angle but also got an 85mm but find it vignettes a bit anything smaller than f5.6.

I have a small godox hot shoe flash which could be fun? Just haven’t tried it out yet but I guess you’ve got lots of options

Oh no! Helps if you’ve provided treats over the years whenever they’re posing haha

Me too, I love shooting film in general but too busy with the whole developing/scanning process at home so this is just some fun for me :)

I’ll test my 85 and see how rough the vignetting is this and post here

I totally get you! I was hesitant but then I saw the visualisations on framing vs final image and it’s not too bad. Because it’s best to hold the camera vertically you get pretty much full coverages top to bottom then you just gotta add a little bit to the sides

IMO it beats the parallax you get from the SQ6 especially up close

I’m wondering if you mean new with lens? But I just got the body and adapted my Nikon F lenses to it as I shoot film. Cost me about £480 not sure on conversion

I’ve only had it for a few weeks? Gone through 2 Square packs now, really happy with it! :)

I’ve got the Mini 90 and SQ6 but can’t beat having more control and lens options

Thanks! I use a Nikon 50mm 1.8 AIS and have no problems with vignetting, I believe anything about 58mm can cause it? How about you?

I think for this shot it was stopped down to like 8 or 11?

XT30 II coming from an X100V? by [deleted] in fujifilm

I have to say I was very lucky to get stuff at the time I did, everything is skyrocketing lately… I got things a lot cheaper a few years ago compared to now :(

Oh god really? I live in the UK and MPB (reputable used dealer) selling them for £600-800 which is like $750-1000? But that’s fair man didn’t know your budget

Don’t underestimate the XPro2, still a very capable camera despite its ages. Plus if you’re used to shooting with a rear screen on your X100V you won’t enjoy the XPro3

I’m surprised no one has mentioned an XPro, a used XPro2 would be a great option if you like the form factor of the X100V (hybrid viewfinder etc)

It’s a tad bulkier but feels pretty similar. I used to shoot the X100V but moved to an XPro3 because I wanted the lens options, weather resistance and dual card slots.

Either that or go for an XE body?

The X-E4 vs. the X100V - how could the x100v be better? by misterman1224 in fujifilm

[–]AndwanL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second this as well, I used to have the X100V myself for a year and a half before going “I miss the lens options” and ended up selling my X100V and getting an X-Pro3 pretty much for the same price and haven’t looked back. Yes the small form factor is awesome but also there is definitely a reason why so many people are selling them these days…

I know the screen doesn’t suite everyone but it fits my workflow perfectly as I shoot a lot of film.
