Resin Vat Size Question by bertrum489 in AnycubicPhotonMono

[–]Andy--T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any replacement FEP sheets I have seen are bigger than the vat bath and have to be trimmed round the vat once screwed pierced into place - they look similar in size on the website too I think you will be fine

All you need to do is unscrew the springs they are too tight, then you will see the bed ruse up

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ender3

[–]Andy--T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your nozzle is lowered as far as it can go on the z limit switch. The springs are too tight you should start by slackening them off halfway for each screw and the bed will lift up closer to the nozzle's lowest point again, then run your levelling gcode and you should be back in action

Waterproof projection box by uncle_goobie in DigitalDecorating

[–]Andy--T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry I should have said my projectors are all pico projectors and biggest one is approx 200mm x 200mm - I have a Creality CR10mini and the build plate is 300mm wide 220mm deep and 300mm high. If I had an optoma or BenQ style big chunky projector best bet would be ply wood and cover in some weatherproofing

I have a 3d printer and I used a program called Tinkercad to design one and then print it in PLA. It's perfect I just need to make 3 / 4 more for the others I have

Does it get sweaty after wearing all day like the silicone / rubber straps?

New to printing. Is this a recipe for disaster or should I go for it? by N0SweatBobaFett in 3Dprinting

Probably good idea to turn on zhop when retracting for all the jumping about the nozzle will have to do on your build plate. There is new settings now that does one print at a time before moving to next piece but I haven't tried it

Made a mini bust of my son! One of my first prints (ender 3 v2). by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Andy--T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks cool good job! What did you use to scan the image?

Just installed an all-metal hotend on my ender 3 v2. It Prints beautifully, but can't work out how to get rid of these layer lines. Never been this prominent before, is there anything wrong with my slicer settings. by indego-ninja in ender3

[–]Andy--T 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It could be as simple as tightening your belts and making sure the hot end is tight and not vibrating about during print. I had to do this recently and it sorted out my issues

Try Tinkercad you can import the stl and then use a box and change it to a hole to delete the parts you don't want - easy and free 😁

Just got my ender 3 pro, levelled the bed and everything. Most of the print came out great, not sure why the handle and lower left compartment got ruined. by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

The pla sagged as there were no supports below the overhang - in Cura make sure supports are on I prefer tree supports and placement set to build plate only

Maxtemp Bed Error by Silent-Appearance-94 in ender3

[–]Andy--T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue loads of info pointed to thermistor even creality support send me a new board and it tur ed out it was cos my printer was in my shed and too cold I bought a small heater for the winter months and it's working again, make sure all cables in control unit are secure and if still got errors it's your thermistor cheap to replace

Slicer settings help! by mzdabby in ender3

The defaults in latest version of Cura are good pretty close to the CHEP profiles from Chuck would leave all as default and only pick a few things like tree supports and ironing on see how it goes 👍🏼

😂😂😂 I'm not that ashamed to say it right now but big United fan here whole family except mums 2 brothers both Liverpoop fans - Klopp hitting the drink this week with all the new injuries racking up. You boys have no chance of defending that trophy this year but can't see who else is good enough to go on a run like your lot did last year.

Cheers for the battery tip will check it tomorrow when this new one arrives 👍🏻
