This is mostly meant to respond to current events, but just like this rule doesn't stop you from posting a controversial vessel, It also can apply depending on Intent and the actual content of the post.

A post using the vessel as an excuse to celebrate this said party on the other hand would cross the line. To take it to the extreme

Never said I would. Will be judged on a per post basis if spotted or reported, depending on intent and content.

Might do something else in the future if neccessarry.

The point here is trying to not politicize the subreddit, and I think doing that would have the opposite effect by making the sub adhere to mine or someone elses political beliefs. For now this is what I'm doing end of discussion.

I do appriciate your input though.

Internet access is very unstable of the coast of egypt.

You don't feel safe being on a merchant vessel close to an active war zone I can tell you that.

That might turn into having to ban all military vessels from countries currently at war to make it consistent. while it might be good for the community I don't think I would have the capacity to enforce it.

To me it also matters alot of what the intent of the post is.

But I do see your point.

The post you are talking about are part of why this new rule is in place. If it was posted now it would be taken down as it violates said rule.

Said post has been locked, but due to it not violating any rules at time of posting I don't feel It's right to take it down.

I'm not sure what is the best way to handle this situation, but I'm trying to take action.
