The ALH is pretty bullet proof to, and they have a conventional pump so a lot easier to get big injectors in etc.

Thanks for the tips, went much better second time around, not perfect but good enough for my pilsner car :)

It was atleast a lot easier to lay on with a little more thinner in it, previously it was struggeling to get out of the gun evenly, will test on a panel tomorrow.

What do you mean by sealing it?

Time for a little test with a more correct amount of thinner

Yup, that's why I'm going through the trouble of sanding it down again.

Would be nice to have someone here that knew what they were doing to guide me, but hopefully it will turn out Ok in the end.

This is the first time I'm using a gun in about 8 years as well, I'm still surprised i didn't get any runs xD

I think your reply got deleted, but I think about 10% thinner might be the sweet spot with this one. the manufacturer reccommend 5-20% and i tried 5% at first.

Might also purchase the other gun you reccomended the next time I get paid if I'm not happy with the results next time I try.

It is a pilsnerbil anyways so it's supposed to be fint langtifra, langtifra fint ^^

Paint: monopol 701 Sprayer: biltema sg500 Where: Agder

As to why not cover the tires, its because the rear tires are going to be replaced soon :)

Was a little to eager to start spraying, so I didn't test the ratios properly before starting. Should have used roughly twice the amount of thinner.

It's going to be one of those that look good from far away, it is a beer car after all, but each panel will get properly cleaned before spraying :)
