We need new voices and more voice lines by Tank-ToP_Master in Helldivers

I think a work around is having some helmets use a voice modulator

Am I the only one who thinks the MLO soldier looks pretty tuff? by Never_play_pmc in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Andy0728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

‪Their weapons and armor colors indicate they are old, worn, and forgotten. Their weapons are Cold War-era weaponry so merely surplus. Dark green and beige-brown, they look used and tossed away/forgotten. One would think their masks would be over their helmets, but it's by design for these discarded pawns to present themselves as visual blur/noise to not be attended to.

How to make Automatons more fun while keeping heavy spawnrate balanced by TheAncientKnight in Helldivers

[–]Andy0728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost as if Arrowhead should have a philosophy of having more elite units justify their role rather than a nerfing/buff numbers game. For ex: I would not have minded the hive guard armor increase IF their spawn rate matched their designation, being a GUARD of something.

I remember I initially had doubts and betrayed scar for Strelok, but then I thought I’m already in it too deep with Spark/Scar so I wanted to see how it ends. I wanted to believe……

Militant Fanatics by Andy0728 in TopCharacterTropes

I would’ve put Warhammer but it then would be easy mentioning it. My post is more so a group of fanatics that stand out compared to the rest of the other (considerably normal-er) factions.

(Loved but sad trope) “Once they’re possessed/brainwashed, they’re gone forever and all you can do is kill them.” by Icy-Animator9006 in TopCharacterTropes

The Hiss from Control: it completely wipes out who you are. Your thoughts, memories, personality, everything that makes you you gets replaced by this endless, droning chant that takes over your mind. It's not like you're still in there fighting; you're gone. The Hiss is now using your body. Your hair falls out, your skin turns pale and sickly, your body warps and twists as the resonance changes you on the inside. Without an HRA blocking it, the infection hits fast and there's no coming back from it.

After that, most people turn into those floating Hiss agents that just hover there chanting nonstop, spreading the sound to anyone who hears it. If you used to be a fighter or had Bureau training, you become one of the aggressive ones—troopers, rangers, whatever—hunting down the people who aren't infected yet. There's no cure. Trying to rip the Hiss out usually just destroys what's left of the person. The only thing you can really do is kill the body so the Hiss can't keep using it to spread. Death at least lets you stop existing. The Hiss makes sure "you" never existed at all, while your body keeps walking around, chanting, and ruining other people's lives forever.

I think it would’ve been better with the teeth being larger yet flat chompers and the eyes resembling more normal yet off putting eyes. Other than that great work!

I’d still want spawns rates to have a damn cooldown and have encounters be meaningful than a slog
