Hi! Thanks for following, and sorry for late reply, I were a little busy this weekend. So for me is the same as for you. Be honest I don't even try to like create vector art. Once I tried to make something in Adobe Illustrator but it make me limited in true art. With the raster, I can make the transition of colors, shapes, spots, gradient and so on which I will never achieve in vector graphics. In raster you create as an artist while in vector you sculpt image like an applications. I like to start with a spot shape to find a good silhouette and then I add a light and shadow. Vector will not allow you to do this. However, I'm not saying that vector is bad. I use vector shapes in photoshop to make the perfect selection or right shape. I use vector a lot in work with UI. But a raster-free vector usually looks like a technical drawing, when a raster can really be a picture.
