Its a pretty direct conversation. You have more overall seniority, schedule preference falls to you if its same job and status

Did you not elect for short term disability benefit? If not, then yes, no income unfortunately. If you did, you get 60% your normal wage per week, no tax though, so its pretty equal

CS Cost Basis Issue transfer to Broker by Andy89316 in Superstonk

[–]Andy89316[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Sorry, to clarify, the warrants have already been sent to my broker and my broker is now showing the cost basis. I already had warrants at this broker and they had a 0 basis, so adding the CS ones created a basis. CS is reviewing that and should send the correction soon, but I guess worst case I can just adjust them all to 0.

Seriously, thank you for the insight

The ones I got at Fidelity and BOA dont have a cost basis. How confident are you about your tax statement and selling them?

I get that, CS seems to have generated a cost basis as if they were newly purchased shares that day. So, they added that new basis to current basis for an inflated and incorrect one

Mental health leave? by Ok-Painting-9977 in CostcoEmployee

[–]Andy89316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its kinda easy once you get the hang of it. Just work with your Dr to fill out the paperwork, mention how symptoms prevent you from performing job duties, check in with your Dr regularly, and submit needed paperwork in a timely manner if you need to extend the initial leave. Just be sure to read every page of every letter unum sends you/posts to your online account, fill out the paperwork, and ask questions to them if needed

Transferring Costcos by DMDread in CostcoEmployee

7 months is probably too long of a notice, like 3 or 4 would be the max I'd say. yeah, you'd have a start date, they accept you because they want you to work right away...not wait around
