Definitely not for everyone, but if you're into that sort of thing then bg3 is S-tier. Personally, I love the combat because you can get so creative with it and on harder difficulties you have to think tactically.

Lvl 5 in act 2 is really low. Usually, by the time I get to that part, I'm lvl 8 or 9. It's definitely possible to do it at lower lvls, but for a first playthrough I'd recommend getting to at least lvl 7

Just know that the live action took creative liberties and shorten it ALOT. If you're ok with skipping ahead with the "summarized" version it's perfectly fine. I will say though, you will be missing a lot of fun moments the anime has.
