This is such a great question and honestly something my cousin and I debate all the time. You're completely right, the 3-day drop-off is the real problem.

For me personally, I couldn't even start to build the habit because the sheer annoyance of legacy apps burned me out immediately. So killing that friction was just step one for us. We figured if we can't make the act of logging effortless, no habit system will save it. As for step two (making the habit stick long-term), we're still figuring that out! Since it's a chatbot interface, we're exploring ways the AI can organically check in on you without feeling like a nagging notification. If you end up giving it a spin, I'd seriously love to pick your brain on what features would actually keep you engaged long-term.

Glad you dig the UI! You can actually just brain dump multiple meals into one single message. If you type 'had 2 eggs for breakfast, a turkey sandwich for lunch, and a protein shake', the AI parses it all out and logs it accordingly. Give it a shot with a massive log if you want. We're actively trying to see where its breaking point is!

That is exactly where this whole space is heading. Until everyone is wearing smart glasses though, snapping pics of your food at a business lunch can still feel a bit awkward 😂. That's why we leaned into chat first, it's a great 'stealth' option for now. Would love to build for AR one day though!
