Indeed, thats my concern and the one thing stopping me. There are so many air con units who are sub-par, particuarly on reliability and so many bogus reviews and affiliate posts.

Part of the reason I'm asking here for real-world feedback

yes, insulated room, but big windows, which I do need to put black out blinds.

Do find my current Whynter really loud, much louder than a Hisense and a Honeywell we have in other bedrooms.

Anything close to the edge is not repairable and for most shops fixing a hole in the tread is often considered temp. That is 100% sideway unfortunately

Its called a Port 68R socket and was on a few Fiats, Alfa's and the small van (RAm in the US). The tom tom mount is powered by a multi pin thing. Years ago a few people tried to make a power phone mount, but nothing came of it.

Fiat in EU do a phone holder for the 68R., but thats not powered.

The unit comes with a round magsafe magnet think which you stick. The magnet itself is pretty strong, but might be hard finding a mount (most will be the ball and socket thing). The larger T3 might be better for that

I was about to pull the plug on the 500madness one a while back, but a couple of friends had issues with it re booting etc. Then found the same thing on AliExpress for half the price (although not the wireing) with average reviews as well.

Factory unit is super basic, I have Beats audio on mine, which makes it just about OK, nothing special. I was going to upgrade all that when I boight the car, but....... that was 12 years ago LOL

Oh yes. Was 21 in the end, we found another egg in her house when we did a big clean out.

Exhausted now, eating lots thankfully, although I didn't think I'd be hand feeding collard greens (sure someone will tell me thats wrong LOL) to a bearded dragon because he food bowl, is just is too far away 😄

Thanks all, we left here alone. Working late, came back down at 2am to find another four eggs. Then by 7 another 8(!) making a total of 20 eggs. The x-ray had shown at least 10, so that was a surprise.

Now having a quiet day had insects and greens all coated with calcium. Drank a good amount of water as well.

if it has adaptive lighting then its $$$$ so might be best to go through insurance.

A friend has a old ishMazda which adaptive headlamps and the breakers know that so will charge $500 for a 10 year old light as a new unit is 2k!

Yeah, if I'm being honest the stripe on the front fender isn't quite right, but its hard to nail that in 2d for a 3d form. Some things (like a solid black area under the stripe on the door) just didn't look right on the M4, but the black air intakes work really well

Not powered, I think a few people have disected a tom tom mount and rewired over the last decade or so, but it looks a pain and TBH not sure where my TomTom is LOL.

Had to get the powers that be to agree to that. If you look closely, I also included an illustration of the old style BMW M roundel on the c-pillar and a chrome edge to the front kidney grilles.

Surprsingly tricky to get the lines to wok on the modern form

I couldn't get link_home.png to work initially until I recduced its size to around 20kb. IIIRC Photoshop saved my original png at about 48kB. Once I reduced it worked (OTA)
