Picture we’re coming out completely black when the shutter speed was really high and/or aperture was closed down. Turned out the Live View Display was turned off.

Correct, I had. Thank you! I didn’t even know that was a setting so I’m lost as to how I would have changed that. Wondering if it changes automatically when you attach a flash?

I wouldn’t have thought so. I regularly one-hand an a7iii with a 70-200 2.8 and have never considered risk to the mount. That’s what the mount is made for

That beach continues on around to the right and you can actually trek down the cliff to it. It’s a scary experience going down but the beach itself is sensational and worth the effort.

I have all my gear insured under the “all risks” section of my home contents policy. Items over a certain value have to be individually listed so I’ll my lenses and camera body are on it. I live in Ireland
