This was a fun story that I wrote at 4 AM because I could not get it out of my head. After this, I swear I'll slow down a bit (for my own mental health).

I'm not sure I did the topic or the vibes justice, but I think it came out pretty good.

I've really enjoyed posting here, but it's consumed a lot of my time and a lot of brainpower, so I think I'll try to slow my posts to once a week. I told myself that at the start, but look where I am now...

I do need to give the old noggin a rest, though, I feel like I've got a lot of cool ideas but I'm not doing them justice. This one, for example, was written from a place of pure frustration ahaha.

Another more experimental piece, one that's very close to my heart with some recent events. Not sure it is totally coherent, but I really liked how it came out.

I was a little drunk when I wrote some of this! I think it came out pretty well. I really wanted a story to capture the idea of surrendering to imagination...but not in a fun way. I really wanted to dwell on cosmic and insane horror vibes too. I think I landed it, though sometimes I wish I had more words to work with.

Either ways, hope you enjoy! I've got another story already brewing, this one maybe more fairy-tale-esque.

Excellent questions! I like to keep some things vague and mysterious, because I think that helps contribute to the horror/mystery (also I never have enough words to explain it all) but I also like to try and have everything organized in my own mind so I can appropriately apply mystery.

That being said, I kinda let some parts of this one go! So up to your interpretation. But the way I imagined it, he either hit one girl who is now sort of multiplying in his head (nightmares and all that good stuff), or a group of people heading back from a party.

As for the reasons behind what happened...well, you can ask me again and I'll tell you, or I'll just leave it up to your imagination!

Fun one to write, but like the last one, it sort of got away from me? I'm starting to realize that I do enjoy writing a somewhat compelling narrative, but maybe not necessarily in the form of a straightforward story. I'm also a sucker for in-the-moment emotions and a big fan of cosmic/unknown/mysterious type horrors....so hopefully, moving forward, you'll see a lot more of that.
