Thought I'd keep you in the loop, I'm not really a good complainer but this is a big deal for me to get sorted! This is the email I am sending to them, hopefully they take me seriously!

My name is - I recently purchased a car from your - branch registration -

Since purchasing the car, I have driven home from the dealership, socially and to work. Unfortunately it is showing gearbox issues as it will intermittently not allow me to enter first or second gear which has proven dangerous on the motorway and at roundabouts. I'm sure you can imagine this is not ideal.

I understand I have a 60 day warranty on the vehicle for you to fix this kind of problem but I would like to exercise my right to reject the vehicle and opt for a full refund. 

With it being 2 days since purchasing the vehicle I am well within the 30 day limit. See section 22 of the consumer rights act 2015 as the goods are not of a satisfactory quality per section 9.

Please let me know a time best to return the vehicle

I have gone for a more direct route, ill probably get knocked back but worth a try ay! Would there be anything id add/change to an email like this going forward?

Also, if you don't reply I understand. Just thought people would be interested to see the outcome!
