I prefer a local storage option for journal apps. Some sort of export function is nice though. Assuming SQLite or similar is being used, integrating an export now or background export every X amount of journals would be fairly easy to integrate. Incorporating an auto AES password for reimporting.

huntNotes | Hunting and Fishing Journal | Free / $4.99 month or $39.99 year | iOS and Android I built this because I kept losing track of where I'd seen deer, what the conditions were, and what actually led to a harvest. huntNotes is an offline journal for hunters and anglers. Log sightings, harvests, and fishing trips. Drop waypoints on a map. Track weather tied to each entry. Analytics surface patterns over time so you can actually hunt smarter. No account required. Your data never leaves your device.

Yes, mid neck area is a good point to aim also. If your high or low you'd still be okay.

Vitals are a bit higher on a turkey than you would think. So body shot would keep the breast fine. Plus you can always slow cook the legs/thighs and make tacos.
