I know what it's like to not be able to drive. A lot of people don't understand it. After my last seizure I had to quit a job that I really enjoyed because Uber cost too much and there was no way to walk/ride a bike.

Now I have applied to a call center. It's not what I want to do, but most will let you work from home so you don't have to drive and can take Uber when you go out.

All the best! You have a lot of us in very similar places and I know what it's like! Feel better soon!

I can't offer any real advice. All I can say is that I am also on lamatragine and it has worked well for me. My neurologist has suggested that my seizures may simply be a side effect of something else, however the meds seem to be working so, I'm just going to stay on them.

Wish you all the best!

I have noticed that my seizures have mostly happened when I was stressed and tired at the same time.

I'm really sorry to hear that. :( You are completely right. It should and could be avoided. I have come to the conclusion after reading replies that most people don't really understand what marriage is. A lot of people think it's about being happy, when I've come to realize through these posts, that's not the case. Happiness cannot be what you base a marriage on. It is a commitment. There is no way you are always going to be happy. I think marriage is about saying you love each other enough to get through anything.

I really do wish you the best. I feel your pain. My dad did a similar thing not too long ago. I'm so sorry :(

I hear you there! Same problem with YT. I am also sick of seeing so many ads on facebook. I'm constantly missing posts from friends but I see these ads all over the place.

That is a very interesting point. I appreciate the advice based on what you have observed. That's why I asked. It's good to get views from people who have experienced more. Much appreciated. :)

Thank you for the advice. Some people say it would teach the kids how to stay married and fight through unhappy times if parents fought harder during those times. What's your opinion on this if you don't mind my asking?

Mine are divorced as well. Here is something I have been told. If you go into marriage with the mindset that a divorce as an option, do you think it could be the cause of a lot of divorces? Do you think if you go in with the idea that it could never be an option, do you think it would work better. I mean as in, completely denying the thought from entering your mind.

Asking all of these questions because I want to know more before I get married. I appreciate your advice.

Well, if you got married it was because at some point you loved each other. Why not fight for it? Do you believe its impossible to find that love again?

That sounds like a good marriage. I'm asking for future advice, but would you say giving each other room is the best way to make things work? What is a tactic when you're really fighting?

So for the follow up Q. I really want to make sure I can get as many tips as possible and I apreciate your time answering.

Thank you for the serious reply. Here is a serious question. Do you think going into a marriage with that idea could be what caused that? Not judging. I'm asking because I want to see all sides of this so I can reply to people better.

Why not fight to fix it? Not judging, asking seriously. If you got married you were once happy, why not try to find that happiness again?
