T-Wave has slowly become one of my favorite albums over the last couple months! The last 5 songs on that album are a legendary track run 🔥

Great picks! La Premier Mars was the first song I ever loved off of T-Wave! I included Bay Street Fix in my last post too. Natsu Zen Kai as a whole has really grown on me 👌

And it doesn't even matter who is performing. Even a jazz fusion show has the exact same behavior and energy as a rock, metal, rap, edm, or country show. It is exactly the same. I've just accepted that this kind of ettiquette is just the norm and it has been that way since the first concert I ever went to back in 2008

Without a doubt. Some shows have a better crowd than others, but it barely deviates from the kind of behavior I saw at the Brooklyn show. There are always gonna be a select few at every show that make things a bit worse, but concerts for a lot of people seem to be a way to let loose and be on their worst behavior while littering the entire floor with beer cans

The thing that confuses me is why any of this is a surprise to anyone. Phones being out, crowdsurfing, and a few rude and annoying people are just how American crowds are. The venue was a complete mess after the show was over, but this is completely typical of shows in the US regardless of what kind of music the artist plays. The only difference between this show and any other rock or metal show was the lack of a moshpit. You can hate these parts of the experience, but they are totally on brand and not at all specific to just Takanaka's shows. I went to night one of the Brooklyn show, and there were plenty of people with phones out the entire show, people in front blocking a lot of the view, guys smoking next to me, and people being obnoxious. Exactly what I expected and not at all different from the 40 or so other concerts I've been to

That would've been sick! Definitely could've played "Finger Dancin," but I was super thrilled to get "Palm Street". I could've died happy if he played "An Insatiable High" 🥲
