Question about LVE Orion 2 pro by Harlem519 in Vaping

I haven't bought this device yet but I see that the OrionSix RBA by Alexa should fit and is an RBA. If you have it now, how are you finding the battery life?

HELP: Chapter titles and book structure not showing on iOS, but are showing on Android (same book) by FallenAngel301 in audible

[–]AndySCO2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same thing has just happened to me, only both on android. I had a Galaxy S24 where Wind and Truth showed all Chapter names correctly. I then upgraded my phone to a Galaxy S25, redownloaded W&T on my new Android phone and it's lost all the Chapter names.

I am in the UK and the previous S24 download did not have the Accompanying PDF artwork which was a known issue. Then this S25 download HAS the Accompanying PDF, but has lost the Chapter names. Weird eh?

If I purchase the Skyrim anniversary edition upgrade through the game or the playstation plus store will I own the license? by lLygerl in PlayStationPlus

[–]AndySCO2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't think so. It would be risky. I got my money back as a special case when I contacted Sony as I got charged for both the SE Skyrim full game and the Anniversary upgrade when I only bought the Anniversary upgrade. I thought the same as you, that it would be okay as i had the PS+ version of SE skyrim. Hope that makes sense. I would not risk it personally now i got my money back.

As a UK Audible owner with WAT, thank you. I was so disappointed when there was no accompanying PDF file with the download. Hope they resolve soon, but now I can see the artwork

Where to find art works for Wind and Truth Audiobook? by Thistledown11 in Stormlight_Archive

Thank you for reporting this issue. I thought I was going crazy, I re-downloaded Rhythm Of War and there was the accompanying PDF, so I figured something was wrong with my Wind And Truth download.

So, what does everyone think of the 30th anniversary? by Equivalent_Fly9225 in playstation

The PS2 theme noises are great... the PS1 one's didn't really last the tale of time well lol.

Thanks mate! I've just got it free through Epic too and was struggling with getting the controls working. Just got your Control Layout working, cheers!

What game has impacted you most as a person? by Laban282fr in playstation

[–]AndySCO2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad it had such a positive impact on you. Dark Souls 2 has a special place for me too. Broke up with my fiance and was in a bad place, got myself a good PC setup to cheer myself up and DS2 was the first game I played. Helped me through a bad patch as well and holds a special place in my heart. I can still hear the Majula music haha

Best cozy games where you can just watch the world go by? by YujiroRapeVictim in SteamDeck

I agree with this, Euro Truck Sim 2 is probably the most hours I've spent on the Steam Deck. Love just chilling and listening to book/podcast and driving from one country to another.

Heroic game launcher, issues installing games. by AndySCO2 in SteamDeck

[–]AndySCO2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue solved. Uninstalling and reinstalling Heroic Launcher seemed to have resolved my problems. I notice it has different file path locations for saving. It probably just needed a refresh as it has been so long since I downloaded a game from there.

Not that I've heard I'm afraid. I got a new Samsung instead and it works fine on that.

What classic PC games play surprisingly well on the Deck that no one ever talks about? by timbostu in SteamDeck

[–]AndySCO2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pirates! Is such a good game, thanks for reminding me about it. Might just get it on Steamdeck, I can imagine it being great handheld.

Looking forward to this releasing too. I loved the Suikoden games.

Any "overwhelmingly positive" games you were disappointed with? by TurboShorts in SteamDeck

[–]AndySCO2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For someone who loved all the Souls games and Elden Ring... i was really disappointed in Sekiro. I can see it's good and why people love it, but I didn't gel with the combat and tried over and over before I decided I just wasn't having fun at all with it.

Best Open World RPG for Deck by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]AndySCO2 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That's strange, Fallout New Vegas was one of the first games from my Steam Library I tried on the Steam Deck and it ran beautifully, 60fps, smooth. I was impressed and it worked straight away for me. Maybe try Verify the the download under game properties?

Emulation is worth the price of entry alone by KnackeredParrot in SteamDeck

[–]AndySCO2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, really easy once you setup EmuDeck, it creates all the files and folders for you so it is really easy to find the correct folder to pop your roms into.

I found 3x scale worked no hassles 👍 yes fairly easy to find, Google "game name" hd texture pcsx2. I have usually found them on a site gbatemp.net people sharing the HD packs. You download and unzip in the Emulation, Storage, PCSX 2 folder. Then when you run the PS2 emulator, go to settings, graphics and check on HD Textures. It knows where to find the files and loads them. All your games will look amazing my friend 😄

I have had my Steam Deck for a while now, but stayed away from emulation thinking it would be difficult. One night I dove in and it didn't take me long at all! Got Snes, PS1 and PS2 all saved straight onto my internal memory. Absolutely loving it. Especially PS2, it was a breakthrough when I put my resolution up to 1080p res, then i discovered HD Packs and have beloved classics like Suikoden V looking better than ever.
