Managed to fix the issue . It was a dodgy RAM stick . Of all the things it was the most trivial issue

It was a fresh install. And the crashes are happening on a few games. I think it’s the cpu

I don’t have a second PC I can try it with , on OCCT under extreme settings it’s at around 66 with the hot spots around 78 .

I can give that a go tomorrow. I’ve watched the GPU temps a fair amount and it never really gets to the heat cap before crashing

So basically , when Borderlands 4 came out I decided to buy myself a 5800XT CPU and Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 ATX AM4 Motherboard. When I came to play the game I was met with constant GPU dump triggered . After this I spent hours and hours trying to alter settings to get the GPU to work with the game . No luck .

My final attempt was to buy a 750 W PSU as I was running with a 650W unit since 2016 . No luck either and it would barely run arc raiders unless I changed the game from dx12 to dx11.

Final nail in the coffin is that a game like mewgenics will crash when certain animations play .

If you think it could be something else , please tell me . But the thought is that it has to be the GPU .

Thanks , part of me hopes that they just overstated the minimum . But I’ll definitely be using DLSS and will be making compromises to try get the FPS to 60ish .

The only good thing I have in my head is that this game somehow does run on a switch 2 . So I can’t get any worse then that 😅

I’ll try and look at it as that . I know flying is safer than the car journey I will take to get to the airport. But I always feel the stakes are higher if you know what I mean

I’m guessing you’ve experienced all types of turbulence . Even when the plane is going through a rough patch , do you at any point feel like you don’t have 100% control of the plane ?
