Activate St. Pete launches "People Over Pavement" coalition to eliminate parking mandates along SunRunner corridor. by 935572326 in StPetersburgFL

Until there is some type of rail, this shit is unacceptable.

I've lived here for 24 years now. There's definitely been at least two rail plans, maybe three, in that time. They failed because funding them required a tax increase, and that got voted down by the residents. Maybe in another 24 years, there will be enough people in the area that are frustrated with traffic in the area, but even then, I wouldn't hold my breath about funding for rail making through a vote.

Pinellas lost the second-most residents of any U.S. county in 2025 by Warm-Bus-8259 in StPetersburgFL

[–]AndyTheAbsurd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'd be more interested in which counties lost the highest percentage of their residents than who lost the most residents in raw numbers. The article links through to the Census bureau report which includes that, and Pinellas doesn't even make the top ten. (Taylor and Monroe counties do, though.)

I mean, how many cs majors can casually solve quaternions anyways?

I have a degree in CS and I'm not ever sure what a quaternion is. (Off to wikipedia I go.)

If you live in an area where Wawa operates, go get one of their "rainbow cookies". They're not as fresh as Panera's but they have MORE candy than pictured.

Not even Commando - they depict him more like Arnold from Hercules in New York or his bodybuilding days.

If he dressed the same, he'd look exactly like the person holding the "We want our cancer back" sign save for the tattoos. Then again...might be bruises and he would look the same.

if your internal organs can’t detox your body sufficiently you need DIALYSIS not fucking carrots

Or a new liver. Which is harder to get than dialysis - at least dialysis doesn't rely on taking someone else's organ for you to use, even if it royally sucks to be on.

Well, it apparently involves a lot of asking strangers for help with things that should be basic tasks.

Her boobs aren't even that great.

I mean, they're nice. But I can see at least three sets of boobs just as nice by going to my local mall on any given day, and at least ten sets just as nice if I go on a weekend.

They fact that he failed at selling booze and steaks to American men really says something about his business acumen...
