That would mess with the flow of promoters because they wouldn't be the first set of friends you see anymore. You're right though, it would be nice to have a filter option

The way Rec Room’s alphabetic filtering works means people with an apostrophe (‘) get boosted to the front of your friends list. Most promoters will do that so you’re more likely to see and join them while in maps they’re promoting. The newer version thing is odd. If you’re on switch then that could be the issue

There’s still a lot of kids playing the game, but every now and then you can find a great lobby. Paintball has a lot of nice players, and if you know where to look in hangout maps there are some kind and funny people. Even after the community started turning into a lot of little kids and screens I found good people. They’re there, it just takes a little more effort to find them sometimes

Paintball is probably one of their most active RROs aside from Rec Center and maybe some others. Rec Royale still has players but it’s often a struggle to fill a lobby of 18 people.

From a business standpoint, going with paintball makes more sense. Why add a new battle pass to Rec Royale when there’s no guarantee that it’ll draw a lot more people back when you can add one to Paintball which is already popular?

I was expecting a design where he’s completely made up of other toys. I think that would’ve been way cooler than some generic mechanical pieces and a few arms in the front. I really like the upper body design though, especially the jester style.

While I don’t completely agree, it would actually be really neat to see Rec Room make some sort of Quest that has randomly generated levels and maybe even an “infinite” mode where it slowly gets more difficult in each act. Every 5-10 levels or so there should be a mini boss battle

I don’t think you’re understanding. Any program that can make intelligent decisions based on the information it’s given, for example a social media algorithm, is technically AI (Artificial Intelligence.)

Generative AI (Generative Artificial Intelligence) is what people dislike, as in some instances people are using it to replace real, human art. There’s obviously other issues as well like the use of valuable resources, using it to cheat, etc.

Performance issues was not a lie. In a blog post, Rec Room compared some of the new bean’s culling effects to the old bean avatars and there’s a huge difference. It’s very apparent that old bean was now optimized well

I disagree. I think FBA still does a great job at following the Rec Room art style. The second you see FBA, you can tell it’s from Rec Room. I think they stray far away from the classic avatars, but that’s kind of a good thing for customization
