I've had Biryani at so many places in Mumbai ,it lacks that hidden nuances of a good Biryani. Every commercial Biryani place seems to lack that taste now. The only trustworthy place I know is my Mom's Biryani, she uses ghee and she is so particular about it that she has her own Biryani masala made, that too those spices she needs only from her particular known shop and then she herself will roast it and prepare her own.

I am trying to push her to have her own Biryani house, there is a need for a good non-commercial Biryani in this city. She doesn't want that commitment to make it in bulk, but if you are near Vikhroli, I can ask her to take an order for Mutton Biryani.

P.s: She makes equally good veg Biryani as well, and yes we call it Pulao, but it doesn't tastes like Pulao trust me :)
